This gun changed the way i felt about Taurus semi auto pistols and while the product still have some issues I have had nothing but stellar products. The Taurus G2C in 40 cal is a pistol you can take into a engagement and defend yourself reliable . I want to throw praise at the TX22 as well never had a ftf, fte or other malfunctions so thats pretty good in my book along ways from 20 years ago

Great budget / Starter pistol or edc if you are budget minded. Pistol shoots accurately and has had no issues in the 4800 rounds that i have l put through it. easy to shoot and for the money cant be beat. Things to consider, trigger is not the best ( long take up ) but also not the worst, if you choose to purchase the g2c series buy the stainless model the black oxide finish on the all black model wears off quickly. sights are taurus proprietary ( limited aftermarket options) outside of the listed items it is worth the money

Great firearm. Wish Taurus would just upgrade the recoil springs from factory. Love the performance and fit of the pistol.

Already gotten my new Taurus G2c .40 S&W form Bud's to my local FFL very good gun for the price fast shipping gotten a few extra accessories like gun lock cable with key cleaning brush & extra magazine already got the G2c 9mm version only came with 2 magazines which is ok everything was good buying from Buds Gun Shop.com no problems in the transaction .

Weird trigger. Not bad, but takes some getting used to. It pulls and goes through two stages of engaging. Other than that, great gun.

I like it special for the cost I have bought many Taurus and never has a complain lifetime limited guarantee

In my own opinion, the Taurus G2C is easily the best value for a handgun available today. It feels good in the hand, has good ergonomics, and operates smoothly. The trigger may have some room for improvement, being somewhat spongy in the take-up. But once the wall is hit, there's a nice break and a well-defined reset. Being chambered in .40, this model has a lot more snap than its 9mm brother but is still very easy to handle compared to other guns I've had experience with of similar size and caliber. The magazine release is reversible for left-handed shooters, which is nice for someone like me who is wrong-handed. The external safety, however, is only really useful for those shooting from the right, and this would be the only complaint about the G2C that I have. On a carry piece, the last thing I want is an external safety, being on the wrong side for me just makes it all the more pointless.
Still, this is an excellent firearm that goes bang, is easy to use, feels good in the hand, and has been very reliable so far. All of this with a price-point around $200, it's worth checking out.

Very good to carry,. small and easy to conceal, shoot very good. and the weight is appropriate for long walks. I used often in hunting trips as side arm. low price for a good gun, and accurate . soft trigger 300 or more rounds and never malfunction.

Pretty solid gun. I have used the 9mm version a bit and really liked the feel of it so I decided to give this a try. After taking this to the range quite a few times I feel really comfortable with it and don't have really anything to complain about. Being a smaller size gun the .40S&W shows in the recoil for sure but is nothing that isn't manageable and as long as you have a good grip and control the accuracy does not decline either. The one problem I has was when running cheap steel case ammo i had a few issues with ejection but thats somewhat common when using the lower quality ammo especially steel cased. With some nice brass from a well know company I ran a few hundred rounds through with out an issue. The sights were on point right out of the box which was really nice because I find dialing in pistol sights a pain. The loaded chamber indicator is a nice touch although you should always be aware of your guns status at any given point. I am using this as my concealed carry weapon with out an issue and fits nicely either on my side on in the front. People knock Taurus but they have been top notch with everything I've used from them and until something happens I will always look for their products first.

When my pistol arrived I went to the range with 500 rounds of Tulammo and 500 rounds of Blazer Brass the first day to break it in and I couldn't be happier. This little cannon shot everything I put in it with very little kick and the trigger is really nice and smooth but the best thing so far is I haven't had a single FTF or FTE. I was skeptical of purchasing a Taurus but this gun put all of my skepticism to rest, I'm looking at the G2C 9mm and it's not because I need it it's because I really want it. Also Buds make buying firearms so easy and affordable, you can't beat the prices or the free shipping and the people who work in customer service go that extra mile just to make sure your a satisfied customer. This is a great gun I own it in 9mm and the .40 is just as good.

I personally like Taurus products they make good guns I love the lightness and it fits my hand good.

Ordered the G2c 40 caliber from Bud’s on a Friday morning I received it on the following Monday .incredibly fast turnaround. I also own the G2C 9 mm. I really like this gun. Like all the Taurus G2 series I have had no issues with this gun whatsoever. Very glad that I purchased the G2c 40 Cal .I’ve shot 500+ factory and reload 175 gr lead hitech coated ,the gun is great shoots everything well .
I’ve read some complaints about the trigger pull issue. After you shoot 300+ rounds the trigger starts to get very smooth not that there was an issue to begin with but it gets broken-in and the gun starts to perform even better so I had no issues to begin with but I did notice that it got very smooth as I shot more rounds through it.

Sweet firearm! Just heavy enough to mitigate the kick of a 40 S&W without being too heavy. Big enough to fit large hands, but very concealable. Shoots straight every time. My new favorite everyday carry.
