Lightweight, functional, basic turkey gun at a great price.

I purchased this 20 gauge shot gun based on its light weight to use for long turkey hunting treks thru very hilly and rough ground. The gun is very light but solidly made. I added a red dot scope and a sling to complete the firearm Sighting in the gun was very easy as I bore sighted the scope and then used #7.5 dove loads to test pattern on paper. When “zeroed” I switched to Federal TSS loads and was totally impressed. Very tight pattern with the factory choke. I am anxious to use this gun for this spring’s turkey season. I’m sure it will not disappoint

I love to turkey hunt but as time moves on (fast) my old BPS 3” 12ga.’s heavy weight was taking its toll on me. So I ordered this little cheap Savage 301 single shot 3” 20ga.camo. turkey gun. Surprise,surprise! This little lite gun had a better pattern that most 12s at 35yards. Thats all I hunt with now and continue to shoot gobblers out to 40/45 yards. KP

Killed 3 mature gobblers my first season using this gun. Yeah, tss costs about $10 a shell. But you can carry this gun all day without a problem and consistently drop birds at 60 yds plus. Highly recommended

Great turkey shotgun for the kids. Sall foregrip makes it easy to hang onto. Very tight patterns at 40 yards. The gun is real light, so I don't recommend letting kids practice with 3-inch turkey loads because the recoil is significant. My kids practice with 2 3/4" target rounds and love it. We took two turkeys with it last year. For the price, it's an awesome turkey gun.

I really like the Stevens 20 gauge turkey gun. I have not used it turkey hunting yet. I have shot several different kinds of ammo through it and it has a real good pattern with the factory choke. The TSS ammo is outstanding, Federal and Browning performed excellent. I would not hesitate to shoot out to 45 yards. Everything worked on the shotgun as it was supposed to. I would recommend it to a friend.

Nice little shotgun to start the kids out on. Once they get proficient and collect few turkeys they’ll be in love with it.

I was really excited to get this great little single shot shotgun. Everything I have read and experienced have met expectations for an entry level and even more experienced hunters. The only disappointment I have is when I saw stamped on the barrel made in PRC (Peoples Republic of China) what a disappointment knowing that the USA can and does produce quality firearms at reasonable prices.

Had you doubts about this gun. But after trying with TSS #9’s would not hesitate to shoot one at 50 yards with it. Great gun for the money.

Shoots ver good with tss and is a very light handy little shotgun. It has a kick to it so I’d use caution with kids shooting it. But it’s a fun gun for sure.

When you buy firearms online that you can't first hold in your hand you wonder. Sometimes you hold these lighter guns and they don't seem durable. This gun has a nice weight and is very balanced, the stock is just the right weight to balance the barrel, feels great. Love this package... may buy it in a .410. I picked this up today and the store let me try it out on the range. I was entirely pleased with the look of the gun and it functioned with one minor exception. The forearm fit the barrel alone just fine but would not latch in the assembled gun. The issue was a bit too much material on the rear of the forearm. There appeared to a mold line that had not been properly trimmed. A little very light sanding cured the problem in short order. I only took off enough such that it still required a light rap with the palm of my hand to make the button reset properly. The gun is quite tight as I would expect on a new firearm. Had it not been for this I would have given it 5 stars for sure. At 15 yds the pattern was about 3 inches across. Made quite a trench in the ground. This is one tight shooting beast.
