I really like it the Ruger security 9 compact I carry the full size security 9 on duty cleaned and oiled it first took it to the range, put around 20 RDS thru it no problems, it's the perfect edc for me buds did a great job from ordering too delivery to my FFL thank buds .

After shooting the Security 9 I just had to have its little compact brother. A true work of perfection. It’s a light carry and like all my Rugers it’s as dependable as the sun rise.

My security 9 was a beauty, although I have yet to use it. I was really impressed with the lock .

The Ruger Security Nine, to me, is an expanded version of the Ruger LCP. It has an internal hammer firing system, not a striker. I really like the trigger pull and reset. The accuracy is acceptable. As it shoots better than I do. When I first got it, I had some hang ups with the slide release. It was so stiff I had trouble releasing It after inserting a loaded mag. I think The Problem Was more me than the gun .For some reason, the problem went away after I shot it a while. Over all I am satisfied with it. For the money, I think it is a good value and well worth what I paid for it .It is small enough to conceal, but large enough to shoot well. Bud's Shipped it very quickly, and the transfer was pretty much seamless. If you want a dependable gun without having to spend a lot, The Security Nine Ruger fits the bill perfectly. For my first pistol, couldn't be happier. Was a little skeptical about it at first after reading some reviews. After putting over 800 rounds through it of various ammo manufacturers and even some remans, not a single malfunction. Very pleased with the purchase.

Bought the compact to go with my full size sercurity 9 and it's a nice shooting gun and easy to conceal.

Great pistol. Fits well, accurate and smooth. The extended mag floor plate is a must for all but the smallest hands. The safety was a little rough at first but cleaned up after about 12-15 times on and off. Would recommend for anyone looking to get into a low price, quality pistol.

Being my first semi auto pistol I dont have much to compare it to other than other peoples firearms they let me shoot. I like it so far. Its easy to rack the slide compared to my stepmom's Glock 26

I purchased the Ruger Security-9 Compact - 9mm +1 to add to my Ruger collection and the firearm holds true to the Ruger quality, functionality, and dependability. This firearm is my primary w/ the Ruger LCP II - .380 acp, as a secondary. I'd definitely recommend checking it out and if afforded the opportunity to rent at a local shooting range, certainly take advantage of it. Stay prepared, stay safe.

Received fast as usual after payment Buds is outstanding in there service!!! This seems to be a fine pistol straight out the box 150 rounds no issues. Cant go wrong with Ruger found a nice compact led light for the accessory rail. Nice sights and grip feels good with extension plate. Comes with 2 mags for the price Buds cant be beat

I have now put around 600 rounds through this gun and have had multiple failures to extract and one cartridge split and lock up the gun. I have used Winchester steel case and brass case ammo. I have used federal and Sig ammo. All have had failure to extract issues. The Winchester steel case gave me the most failure to extract and the one case that split and locked up the gun. I had to disassemble the gun to the use a long screwdriver and a hammer to get the case out of the chamber. I did that in the field. I actually like this gun. It’s accurate and the trigger is great. I also have light primer strikes and only once had a cartridge not go off because of it. I rechambered the round and it fired. I would not feel confident I could trust my life to this as a carry gun in its current status. I have a friend who got his security 9 compact at the same time and he’s had zero of the issues mine has had.
