very disappointed with this pistol. The craftsman is not good when compared to Ruger wrangler and the price is comparable. The Heritage Manufacturing Rough Rider looks to be made by machines. It is stiff and sticky.

Beautiful pistol at a great price. Heritage Manufacturing Rough Rider is accurate out of the box. Would recommend to anyone in search of a .22 Long Rifle caliber handgun in a classic revolver format.

Bought this, put a birdshead grip on it and absolutely love how it looks, feels, weight. Great gun!

Great little gun. Smooth action. Shoots good but you have to get use to the trigger and sights. Price vs fun factor its hard to beat.

I just love the look of this piece, would never sell it. Great having both the LR and Magnum cylinders and 9 rounds. Shoots great. That said, it has a couple of difficulties. One is that the cylinder pin can be extremely difficult to remove and reinstall- but not every time? It's binding. Seems to be the frame bore for the pin is not 100% true to the axis it should be. I say that because the cylinder pin gets VERY close (too close) to the ejection rod shrouding as you pull it further out. Not a huge deal, but it can be maddening. Same problem with either cylinder. Not like I'm changing the cylinder from 22LR to WMR every day though. I have 3 other RR's (all 6 round 6.5") that don't exhibit this problem so I'm not imagining this. Secondly, don't expect to unload quickly. You have to hold the cylinder between lock up positions to align the rod. I knew about this complaint in advance. No hurry on my end to unload. Not a fan of the orange hue cocobolo grips, so swapped those out and restained the originals. No deduction for that. I should rate this as 3.5 stars, but I'm easy to please so I'm going 4.

A little disappointed in this firearm as it has one cylinder that will hang up after firing so that you can't cock the hammer or advance to the next round. This doesn't happen every time and NEVER happens when dry firing. Can't figure out if this is a timing problem or something wrong with the cylinder. Otherwise it is a nice firearm and the finish is a great improvement over past models from this company. Three stars is the best I can do.

Fun little revolver for the whole family. I was surprised with the quality, weight and craftmanship. For the price, I highly recommend it.

I have other Heritage Arms products and very pleased with them. This firearm doesn't seem to be the quality of past products, The case harden color is more yellow/golden color. This fire arm also shooling 6 inches to left at 25 yard with fixed sights.

I brought this revolver to the range last week and shot around 100 rounds of 22lr at a 8inch metal swinger set at 50yards away —— I was able to hit this consistantly with a majority of my shots —— this revolver shot to point of aim right from the box —— The action is smooth with a tight lockup —— this was a great purchase at a very reasonable price —- this revolver is a lot of fun to shoot and it is definitely a keeper!
