Good 1911 for the price. Had a few jams upon ejection, but after some polishing no more issues.

I will recommend this ATI 1911. I wanted to wait until I put at least 300 rounds down range to give a review. This 1911 is very reliable and well built. ATI has really good customer service as well. I had several failure to feed, but it wasn’t the firearm it was the aftermarket magazine that was the issue. I used original mag and Wilson combat mag and no more issues. I love my ATI Titan compact 1911. It’s extremely fun to shoot. Don’t hesitate to buy it. You will not regret it!

Great handgun! A little picky about ammo at first, but that happens with a lot of 1911's. Runs great after putting a few rounds through it!

Ive had this gun since 12/14 and have put over 2000 rounds through it. Lots of negative reviews on this gun, but this isn't one of them. If you are looking for an out of the box no break in gun your looking at the wrong one. FTE was the biggest problem for the first couple 100 rounds. I did replace the recoil assembly with one from Kimber and since then its been a great shooter. Buy it, shoot it.

I don't shoot a whole lot, but I wanted a handgun that I could carry that was fairly compact and yet powerful, this 1911 Titan fit the bill and functioned well right out of the box. For the price I am satisfied with this purchase.

Great Gun it is just like a 1911

nice gun for the money, only issue is chambering a round. tried 3-4 different mags even Wilson combat mags and it still jammed. just has a weak spring I think. over all looks good

Out of 100 rounds 95% of the time the titan failed to feed the round. Upon further research I found this to be a common problem with this firearm. Buds did an excellent job with prompt delivery.

I have a sig 1911 ultra compact I carry every day and I figured I would buy this just to see how much different my $900 pistol was compared to this $400 1911 needless to say I haven’t given up the sig & started carrying this but for the price it is the nicest 1911 u will find the fit & finish is amazing probably tighter fit than both my colts & my sig I polished the feed ramp before I ever shot it but it shoots great with no jambs or failure to feed and it is pretty accurate & has less recoil than my sig but it is quite a bit heavier which is probably why all in all it’s a great gun that seems to have the quality of a high end steel frame 1911

From new I installed the Kimber recoil spring assembly and some Night Sights, this gun has been excellent!
It has ate all the ammo I have thrown at it. The first few hundred rounds I had some ejection issues, but I no longer have them now that I have over 1500 rounds through the gun.
I use this as my daily carry and the finish shows it, but even covered in lint and not touched for a month or so it still works flawlessly!
It is a bit heavy compared to the Kimber I had, but it is every bit as accurate and reliable.

Great price and great shipping as usual with buds but this is NOT a firearm that I would carry for personal protection. Even after polishing the feed ramp, changing the hammer, guide rod and spring assembly I still won't trust this firearm with my life due to the feed errors. I can run like 50 rounds without an error now but that's still horrible in my opinion. 500 rounds threw it so far but the first 200 were brutal.

While the 1911 platform has never been great in the compact form [ I have owned several] this A.T.I. Titan seems to be the worst of the worst. The gun was sent back to A.T.I. with a description of the problems where thy inspected, adjusted and supposedly tested then returned to me, great customer service and very fast turn around. BUT still no joy returned gun has same problem as before. Problem 1 will not extract empty shell from chamber every 2nd or 3rd shot. Problem 2 when it does manage extract and feed it throws the empty up and back striking me in the face.. All of my shots were made with clean new factory ammunition Remington, Federal and CCI Blazer Brass all 230 gr. round nose. As an aside used 3 different magazines, The A.T.I. and 2 Wilson Combat. I attribute the problem to very poor machining in the chamber. I know the Titan is a relatively inexpensive 1911 I seem to have a very expensive paper weight

Good little gun!.... I replaced just about everything on it , but it runs great

I bought this pistol from buds a few months ago after reading the mixed reviews. When I first received it I was impressed with the fit and finish of the gun. It seemed like a really nice pistol for under $400. Then I went and shot it. Every other round would fail to feed, go into battery, or fail to extract. It seemed like the recoil spring was way too weak. I ended up replacing the recoil assembly with the kimber ultra-carry one and removing the extractor, bending it in order to tighten it, then reinserting it. It still had its issues with the feeding with numerous magazines. With the kimber recoil spring it would malfunction once or twice per magazine. Even though it didn't work I really liked this pistol and was determined to get it going. Now after 400 rounds, it seems to be getting a lot better but still the same failure every 4-6 magazines (It seems to become sort of finicky as it gets hot). I'm hoping that it will continue to improve, if not I will send it back. If you want a gun that runs right out of the box; this one isn't for you. If you like tinkering, then maybe it's for you.

I took it to the range for the first time today. I ran about 50 rounds of new CCI's 230 grain ball ammo through it and it never missed a beat. I then ran a full magazine of my concealed carry hollow points through it, Corbon's Powerball +P 165 grain ammo. Same thing, not one single FTF or misfire. I saw no reason to waste any more ammo and took it home for a good cleaning. You can really notice the Increased bang and recoil with the Powerball ammo. No problem for me as I have huge mitts (5xl gloves). The fit and finish of the gun equals most $1000+ 1911s. I like the feel of steel, not plastic guns. I would highly recommend this to anyone and would buy it again in a heartbeat!

Yes I'm Charles Walker I have purchased the 45 Auto FX Titan I am very pleased with the quality in the craftsmanship of the firearm and it appears to be solid and very well put together with the craftsmanship it has I think I enjoy it for many many years so I'll give you 5 Stars + 1

I just received the Titan the other day and have not had a chance to shoot it yet. First impression is that is is a well made firearm. Fit and finish are good to very good. If it operates realiably I will be very satisfied. For now I am rating as satisfied.

have not shot the gun yet, BUT THE CRAFTMANSHIP AND FIT IS GOOD.

Pistol seems to be of good quality, fit & finish, and with excellent sights & nice wood grips. Pistol exterior was drenched in oil, but the inside was dry, so I always recommend disassembly, inspection, and clean/lube as needed with any pistol before firing. During my first range session I started with 230 gr. ball ammo. Pistol functioned without any feeding or extraction issues and seemed pretty accurate, but on a couple of occasions the slide locked back with rounds remaining in the magazine. I double checked my grip to be certain I was not inadvertently engaging the slide stop, and I am certain I was not. After about 100 rounds I switched ammo to 200 gr. plated SWCs and the real trouble began. The pistol would not feed this ammo reliably at all, with the bullet nose slamming straight into the feed ramp. I then tried Ranger P defensive hollow points, which are nearly "ball" in shape, and these failed to feed as well. During my session I used the original magazine as well as Colt and Kimber Pro mags, all with the same results, including the slide lock back problem. Overall, this was not an auspicious beginning. I'll give it some more break-in time but it looks like it'll need at least some feed ramp polishing to get it running, although I'm not confident that will solve the problem. After my experience with an earlier purchase of ATI's full-size 1911 (100% reliability with all ammo types, from the first round) this one is a disappointment.

Really good shooter strait out the box small and compact and surprisingly very manageable recoil. As always great service from Buds. **Note** you must clean this gun before shooting run it wet then clean after shooting. I did this twice and had absolutely no malfunction What so ever. Thank Buds

Impressed great quality for the price. I immediately bought some Wilson Combat 47’s Shot 300 rounds during break in going to throat and polish then another 200 rounds After night sights maybe CCW Buds awesome as always
