This is one of the best made 22 long rifle magazines I have ever seen. Way better then the mags that they used to put in their Model 234 bolt action 22 rifle. But don't expect to just slam the mag into place. The orientation of the hole isn't really made for that. Reloads are quick ... just not Ruger quick. But the mag is awesome. Built like a tank and reliable. i wished my other Savage 22 rifle had this mag. You know they made a 20 rounder like this at one time. Twenty rounds quick in a great Savage rifle.

Very heavy duty. The bottom has some sharp corners so slamming it in the heel of your hand is a little painful. The same mag that comes with the gun.
