Good entry level beginner gun. Many Children in my area have shot this as the first time they have shot a shotgun. Single shot so they can only shoot you once.

Buds was awesome as always. This little shotgun is perfect for snake season. Very small shotgun with very little kick. Gets the job done, and for the price, just go ahead and buy two, if you can.

Good starter gun for my 6 year old . Short enough he could actually hold it by himself.

Nice little shotgun, I bought 2 for my 10 and 11 year old boys. They have put about 75 rounds through them and the initial stiffness is wearing off. They have a little kick but nothing like the 410 bolt action I grew up with, I outfitted them with recoil pads and the boys say they barely feel thew kick. The guns appear to be pretty sturdy and I plan to start the boys on moving targets during the middle of August, my hope is to give them a chance at hitting a dove on opening day. So far the gun has done really well at 30 yards with number 9 & 8 shot; overall I would recommend this gun as a great starting place for a young hunter. the safety features are good and the gun seems to be well built for an inexpensive shotgun, I also think they have a good chance at a Turkey next spring with these things

Very pleased with Rossi 410 gauge shotgun as ideal starter shotgun for my grandson.

Buds shipping was awesome as usual. This is the first time I've had a problem with a firearm from Buds. The trigger was stuck all the way back and the hammer would not stay cocked. It took a lot of effort to pull the trigger forward to it's set position. I decided to drive the trigger pivot pin out to see if the trigger would free up. It did. Then it worked fine after I drove the pin back in. There must've been a burr or debris that made the pin fit too tight in the trigger. Everything function checks ok now. Not sure how that passed quality control, the gun appears to have been test fired. Other than that hickup, it's a nice little shotgun. I'm giving it 3 stars because of poor factory quality control.

I purchased this youth shotgun for my 11 year old grandson. The gun is very well made and I think a real good price. However the gun is so light weight it kicks like a mule! My grandson being slight of build is afraid of it. I, on the other hand, love it. I intend to use it till he grows a bit. As usual Bud's offered great service and a great price.

Great little shotgun for my 11 year old. I started him out on a Remington 870 Youth (20g) and it was just a little too much for him. This one fits him well and he has no issues operating the shotgun. Great shotgun for the price and of course Buds Gun Shop was an A+ with fast shipping. Only issue is I will be purchasing a recoil pad for this gun but for the price I paid, I would not expect one. Even though it is a 410, it is a little "snappy" due to it LIGHT weight.
