Completely happy with this gun.... picked it up from my ffl and went straight to the gun club with two boxes of goose loads and one box of target loads. The gun functioned flawlessly. Had heard the there have been poi issues with the SBE3...... not this one.... busting clays straight out of the box. Took the gun to the eastern shore of Maryland and the gun continued to function perfectly in everything from a 16 degree morning to pouring rain. The SBE3 is light - shoulders on point, is accurate and looks great. The larger controls work perfectly with large warm gloves. Breaking the gun down for cleaning is straight forward and quick - same for reassembly. The case that Benelli sends the gun in is a quality case that protects the gun and includes a cleverly designed box that holds the chokes that come with the gun. I was looking for a reliable tough waterfowl auto and this gun checked all the boxes. Is not an inexpensive gun but worth every penny. If your thinking about a SBE3 rest assured you will not be disappointed.
Ordered from Buds and three days later my local firearms dealer called to tell me the gun was there...... great service and quick shipping. A great experience.

WOW!!! This gun is amazing! I previously owned a Stoeger m3500 when they first came out, and I really like it, but after 2 years it was starting to wear out. It also had the "Benelli" click really bad. I ended up going to a Maxus for 2 years and SX3 for 2 years and just wasn't a fan of the new gas systems. I always wanted to get back to inertia, but wanted to wait until the fixed the "Benelli" click. Well they did so I saved up some money and purchased this about a month ago. Once I received it, which was 3 days from ordering I think, I took it straight to the range. I shoot win super speed, they are a 1oz load (which are lower than the lowest recommended loads to use), for doves and decided to see if they would cycle. Yep, Yep, and Yep! I shot a couple 3in turkey loads and 3in waterfowl loads just to see how the recoil felt. It wasn't bad, wish they had a recoil reducer option like the Stoeger did. Think I might add a few sticky tire weights somewhere in the butt stock. Took it home and cleaned the barrel, hear they don't pattern well with the packing grease and yes, it was pretty dirty. I also cleaned the bolt assembly and rails. Over the 4th weekend we did a little skeet shooting. Picked up a nice champion auto clay thrower from Rogers Sporting Goods and 5 cases of clays. I started off with 6.5 boxes of the 1oz dove loads and it cycled them all without a hiccup. Then I had the generic win 4box special, which are the lowest recommended loads to use. probably shot another 300-400 shells with only one failure to feed. Not sure exactly what happened, just sat on the latch and bolt stayed back. I took it out and mixed that shell with 2 other shells and it cycled them just fine. This is my first shotgun with the middle bead on the vented rib, wasn't sure i would really like it, but it wasn't that bad. Once I started to just react to the clay instead of point the gun I started being more consistent. The gun comes with the drop and cast at C, 55mm, drop and D, right, cast. I tend to raise my cheek off of the stock some so went to the D, 60mm, drop and it feels better. I haven't went back out to shoot it yet. I watched several youtube videos for reviews on it and also the breakdown and cleaning, they were pretty helpful. I shouldered this gun at several different stores and always knew more about the gun than the salesman did. Overall, this gun is better than advertised in my opinion. Yes, it is pricy, but I think it is totally worth it.
