Accurate rifle but magazine is junk. Purchased a couple other new ruger magazines hoping to fix follower not pushing rounds to the top of mag after ejection. still had the same issue. I’d only recommend this rifle if ruger had better magazine for it. By the way buds was great!

This was my second Ruger American. The first one, in 7mm-08, is a few years older than this most recent one, and I love it. This 6.5 Creedmoor, however, seems to be very rough around the edges. There are deep machine marks on the back of the receiver and the mold lines on the stock are nearly unfinished, there are also scratches in the bluing on the barrel. Not sure if I just got a bad copy or if Ruger's fit and finish has gone down hill since my last American rifle. Still giving 4 stars because it does what you expect from a Ruger American: it shoots, and it shoots well. Sub MOA groups at 100 yds is certainly not out of the question!

Firearm as advertised, smooth bolt operation, great clip and easy load. Have already recommended this rifle to two friends whom I expect to purchase it.
