Buds as always delivering fast, honest and easy firearm transactions. Always a pleasure doing business with them. Now for the disappointing review of this TALO GP-100. Fit and finish is honestly very disappointing for this price. Finish is not completely buffed out and there are marks all over the firearm like it was passed over and never completed. The lock up of the cylinder is somewhat loose. For the price of this revolver should be close to flawless and solid like all my other Ruger rollovers. I have an older GP-100 in 6" with more than 10,000 rounds thought it and it is tighter than this brand new one. I am a little disappointed in Ruger. I own several Ruger revolver pistols and this may be my last one. My Smith's are tighter, smoother on both the SA and DA and have great fit and finish not to mention cylinder lock up that Ruger cannot match.

What can I say, this is an incredible, well-built revolver. My first Ruger and I am not disappointed at all. I love blued guns, and after so many positive things said about Ruger and the fact that the GP100 does not have an internal safety lock (which is a deal-breaker for me). I wanted a GP100 for a while, and this one was the perfect one to add to my collection of wheel guns which had every feature I wanted such as, Blued finish, a Ruger, a revolver, no less than a 4-inch barrel, 7 shot, rubber/wood hybrid grips, tritium sights, and the amazing TALO edition guns. Gun arrived quickly from Buds, A . No scratches or any cosmetic wear to the gun at all. I was worried about the Blued finish on the Ruger as most of them look like a matte black. I wanted a professional blued finish that would match my Smith & Wesson wheel guns and I got it. The blueing is amazing and well done. It has that classic bright carbon blue finish to it. I have not put rounds through this revolver yet but based on the quality you receive; I have no doubt this gun will perform as expected if not better. If you are thinking about getting a Ruger or a wheel gun overall, go with the GP100. If you want a Ruger wheel gun that has a true classic rust blue finish go with this TALO edition one. The action is a lot smoother than other GP100's I have held. For the quality, craftsmanship, durability, price, you can't go wrong with a Ruger.
