My edc, old faithful lol. Fires all types of 9 ammo doesn’t matter what grain, I prefer +p for this pistol.

I've never really been a huge Glock fan, but this new gen 5 has me rethinking that statement. This gun shoots like a competition gun out the box. Get one and you want regret it.

On the Monday morning of the 10th of June I found myself in a real pinch to get one of these gen 5 Glock 19’s for my daughter before her wedding Saturday. My normal firearms dealer was unable supply the previous week, then both my back up, and backup/backup plan failed over the weekend. I called everywhere, and now one in my half of the state seemed to have the exact model Glock I wanted for sale. Her wedding was out of town and I was leaving home Thursday. With less than 3 days to work with I went online and quickly located one out of state at Buds. I placed the order online and called to see if I could pay to have it expedited.
The nice young man explained that Buds does not offer overnight shipment or any expedited services. I told him that was a crying shame under my unique circumstances. I proceeded to bend his ear a bit and then finally ask him in the nicest way I know how, to see if he could give me the best possible personal service in pushing my order out the door. He was very sympathetic to my needs and agreed to give me his best effort but fell just short committing himself to anything. I told him my daughter and I sincerely appreciated his honorable best efforts and prayed it would come in time.
Wednesday afternoon my phone rings and my dealer tells me to come pick it my little girls new Glock! Hallelujah! I walked out the door with this pistol about 48 hours after placing the order. With Buds from a neighboring state. NOW THAT IS EXCELLENT SERVICE all the way around! I would not expect this kind of effort all the time, but in my most desperate hour of need Buds customer service team was there to make it happen for me. HOOZAH!

Superb after 500 rds. Was skeptical of the new Gen 5 slide finish at first but after a couple of months of carry and use it has retained a like-new appearance. It is my ideal balance between round capacity, conceal-ability and ease of shooting for most situations.

There are some improvements made in the gen5 Glocks, which i already thought were a great choice for personal protection. The front cutout on the grip initially annoyed me, and seemed absolutely pointless, but i barely notice it now while i grip the gun. The factory night sights are improved over the ones offered on gen4 models, something i have not heard anybody else mention yet. I think being ambidextrous should be an option for every gun, so good for Glock on the dual slide releases. But..... Do not assume your holster that fits previous gens will work for gen5. The slide releases stick out further now and render my favorite holster useless. Big fan of the extended fronts on the mag floor plates, removal of finger grooves, beveled front of slide.... Very happy with my purchase from Buds!

Hats off to Bud's again for bringing us great prices. My Glock 19 gen 5 arrived at my local FFL the other day after all layaway payments were made and after a quick cleaning proceeded over to the in-door range and fired off 150 rounds of 115 Remington cheap bucket of ammo and to my surprise all rounds fed and ejected perfectly with NO jams at all. Overall the Glock 19 feels balanced in the hand and I plan on making this my EDC gun. I like the fact that this came with factory installed night sights which is why I went with Bud's because they had them in stock, my local dealer said they would have to order one, or I could have them put on at a later date, don't waste your time order from Bud's. I prefer the no finger grooves, but some don't care either way this is a great gun for home defense and EDC, I plan on getting the glock 19x soon. Thanks again Bud's and Happy Shooting.
