If there was a star rating I would give this a five star rating (Highest). I am very pleased with this rifle. I had ordered four types of ammo for the Savage 10 GRS from Bud's. After mounting the scope and sighting in with some relatively cheap 6.5 Creedmoor ammo, I was shooting about .9 inch at 100 yards with a 5x25x 56mm scope. I broke the barrel in carefully, by shooting cleaning, and letting the barrel cool. Shooting and cleaning. Hello, out of the box with just a trigger adjustment, I was shooting sub-MOA. I made adjustments and got the trigger pull down to exactly 2 pounds. The adjustable cheek piece on the rifle is nice and easy to adjust. This gets your eye centered with the center of the scope. Worked great for me. The adjustable buttstock is also quite nice to adjust your length of pull. I love the adjustable accutrigger on this rifle. . After firing 40 rounds of the first ammunition, I settled down and started shooting for group size with some premium ammunition of different weights. This rifle is very capable of sub-MOA groups, if the shooter does his or her job. By the way, I added a compensator/muzzle brake. The smallest group was .369 inches. Another group was .390, both from the bench with an adjustable rest. I liked the texture and slight tackiness of the hand guard. I had expected the rifle to be pilliar bedded or have some type of chassis bedding. The GRS stock does not have these. The action does rest on a fiberglass reinforced stock that sort of looks like plastic- - but definitely not bedded with any type compound or pillar posts. However, this did not seem to make a difference in shooting for group size. The vertical grip, thumb wrap-a-round, and the thumb shelf on the stock, takes a little getting used to. For me I found that using the thumb shelf on the right side of the stock just rearward of the trigger was the best shooting grip for me. I really liked this feature of the rifle. On the downside, this rifle is heavy. Adding the scope and muzzle brake increased the weight also. Therefore, I would not want to do a long stalk or climb a mountain on foot with this rifle. This rifle will be used as an introductory rifle for long range precision shooting and also for hunting whitetail deer in the Southeast.

I received this gun from Buds a week ago and took it to the range the next day.I shot S&B 140 gr. (least expensive ammo I could find online.
Shot 3 rds. and cleaned...3 rds. and cleaned...3 rds and cleaned. Shot 20 more rounds through the rifle and managed one 5 shot group at 1.5" at 100 yds.
Took it out today and shot 40 rds. at 100 yds. The closest range only has 100 yd rifle range at the moment.
Shot 7, 5 shot groups with the same ammo and managed groups from .75" to 1.25".
Still getting used to the rifle and will buy some match ammo for the next outing.
So far so good. I'm very happy with my purchase and look forward togetting better and shooting some long range matches in the future.
This rifle will get it done!
FYI....mounted a Vortex DB 6-24×50 optic and triger set at lowest setting, approx 2.5 lbs.

The Savage model 10 GSR in 6.5 Creedmoor is everything I hoped it would be; Accurate, rugged, and great feel. First sight in session produced a 3-shot group of .514. This is one of those guns that puts a big smile on your face everytime you shoot it. The trigger pull from the factory measured 2.2lbs. Nice that it also came with a 20 moa rail. The finger molded pistol type grip which has a slight cant to it just feels great. The adjustable stock , length of pull and cheek rest, work as advertised. You can make this gun fit your fancy. Only accurate guns are interesting and I can’t wait to finish breaking it in and getting it out to longer ranges, and to put some meat in the freezer.

I received this a week ago. I had to put a different stock on the rifle (I'm left-handed). Savage sent me a stock that fits perfectly. The only problem with the rifle is the magazine. It is single stack and plastic. It makes it very difficult to operate the bolt, A new magazine needs to be developed. It would be nice to have metal magazine with staggered feed. Other than my comments the magazine, it is an excellent rifle
