Very nice pinker. Has the 1911 look. No issues. Thanks Buds!

Works great. The only hiccup was when we used the quiet .22 rounds. CCI stingers work best but we had no trouble with most ammo.

I really enjoy shooting this weapon. It handles and shoots like its big brother, the model 92F. It is economical to shoot versus the 9mm. The only issue I had was that the weapon was shipped/received with no front sight. I had to purchase and install it on my own. That is the only reason I am not giving it 5 stars.

I already had a 92FS 9mm that I'm very fond of...beautiful guns and fun to shoot...The cheap to shoot .22 version of the same platform seemed logical. Well, it looks good (especially with some wood grips) and feels ok for a plastic gun, and is definitely fun to shoot with the right ammo. Mine will not cycle Federal AutoMatch, does fine with Remington Golden bullets...If it's to be used as a trainer for drawing and taking the safety off with an easy forward sweep of the thumb, as you can do with the 9mm FS, the safety/decocker will have to be loosened up considerably. Maybe it's just mine, but the safety is quite hard to manipulate, even after working it back and forth several hundred times. I suppose this isn't an issue for those who leave it in fire...Also, with the hammer back, the lever can be pushed down halfway to decock and will spring back up to fire position without going all the way to safety position, unlike the 92FS. This could be seen as an upgrade, or an issue with someone who thought they put the gun in safe but actually only decocked it...Is this a defect? or an improvement?...Anyway it is fun and of course fits the same holster as your 9mm FS...

Had this on layaway waiting for permits of course the model with the rail came in before i had mine shipped. No matter . Took me 2 months to get to the range sfter i had recieved it cleaned and oiled it up . Used 3 diff types of aguilla ammo. Hypervelocity , match and reg 40gr. 50 rounds of each . The hyper was the best but cycled through all 150 rds of perfection . Groups were super tight at 10 yards . Trigger pretty good , but wow is it accurate and rapid fire accurate , no recoil at all . Very fun . Wish they gave you atleast 2 mags. Bought a sig mosquito years ago for my wife have done all i can with that thing and it just doesnt cycle well. Only likes specific ammo. Its terrible. Anyone looking for a fun accurate reliable little plinker . I would go no further. This one is awesome . I can see this being perfect to start your kids with as well as just having some cheap targrt practice. What can you say its a Beretta. A

I'm not a huge .22 LR guy, but with the cost of ammo there's not much choice if you want to live fire (frequently) without going broke. That said, I wanted to get a .22 that looked and felt like a larger caliber pistol. I do happen to have a 92, so this seemed like a natural choice. I was not disappointed. Sure, you can certainly feel the difference, but this pistol feels great and is 100% reliable so far. Accuracy seems good but I may need more trigger time; it seemed to hit left but that could certainly be me. If not, I can drift the rear sight to compensate. Love the 15 round capacity. She's a keeper! Buds shipping was awesome- I think maybe 4 days from ordering until I was firing it. (BTW- I had a Bersa Thunder and a Ruger Standard .22 in the past, and this is my favorite so far)

The great M9 chambered in .22. Compared to small-frame pistols like the Ruger SR 22 large-frame means a solid platform, practically zero recoil and increased accuracy. Handles finicky ammo flawlessly. Good price!
ONE CAVEAT. Comes with only one 10-round mag! Not nearly enough! Buds sells 15 round mags so get a couple and add around $60 to the bottom line. Still a good price.
Let’s face it, we’re all shooting .22s these days. Might as well get a fantastic pistol to do the shooting. This is it!
Four stars due to just one mag.

Very versatile 22. So far has been very reliable, only failures due to cheap crappy ammo but no failures to feed, eject, etc. It’s also very accurate and looks just like a normal M9 except the receiver is poly and slide is Aluminum. Highly recommended as a nice tool to practice shooting during the pandemic ammo price hike

Very well made pistol. I have been using all types of 22lr and it takes all of them with out any surprise.

Do not have a lot of experience with it, took it to range just one time. So far it seems like really nice gun. Full size model with benefit of low noise, almost negligible kick back and low cost of 22LR ammo. Being just novice shooter can’t vouch too much to accuracy of it but again it seems decent. Never the less there is one issue that if I was aware of , I would have not purchase the gun. It is issue rather with Beretta than gun itself . Gun comes with only one mag and when I attempt to purchase additional mag it become known to me that Beretta discontinued production of it. No other retailer has it for sale. Not a way to attract New or retain Old customers.
Anyhow purchase experience from BHS was positive.

Love this 22. This is an exact replica of the iconic Beretta 92 (M9 in military). Exactly the same size and function of the 9mm model. Fun and reliable but does not do too well with standard velocity ammo. Use high or hyper velocity and away we go! It's the same thing with my iconic Colt 1911 GI-22. Both I got here. Bud's always have some sales going on and I'm on it!

Bought this first as trainer to help improve 9mm skills (CZ75) and then to have as a plinker. I like everything about the gun. Feels great; nice 9mm-like size, grip and heft; magazine is easy to load and release; the mag release, slide release and safety are all easily accessible and the slide is smooth, snug and easy to work. Important to me, the ergonomics are very close to my CZ, which was also born of the Beretta long ago, BTW. I'm sure the trigger pull is a little heavier and longer than most of us would want, but I found it to be smooth, consistent, predictable. Recoil is nearly nil. Its first session I shot about 150 rounds without single mis-feed. Disassembly for cleaning takes about a minute.
Another neat thing is the list of recommended ammo in the OM. And fortunately I had 4 of them on hand, and grabbed a couple others. Unfortunately the accuracy is not what I expected. I benched it at 25 yards, shot as carefully as i could, and could make groups no better than 4, 4 1/2 inches. The faster rounds were getting out to 6. The 2 best loads that day were the slower and (yay) cheaper ones - CCI Mini Mags and Remington TBolts. But don't be discouraged. I've been told that 4-5 inches is typical for a lot of 22 pistols at this range, and also, up till now my only standard has been my Ruger Single 6, which gets 'em in under 2inches. And I'm not the best shot. When i begin using it at 7- and 15yds with my CZ, I'm sure it'll do better. But just the same, I'm counting on this M9 helping with my 9mm skills, and it's going to be a blast for killing paper plates and chasing tin cans. But I still don't have that precision 25yd target 22 pistol I've been waiting for. I guess it's a mark IV later this summer.
Note: Mags hard to come by. You can find 10's, not cheap either, and i think everybody in the world is out of 15's, unless you wanna pay $50. Grips, on the other hand, are standard M9 grips - all kinds of changes you can make.

Outstanding 22. True to the 9mm big brother. 200 rounds of Armscor with no problems. Good cheap shooting.

Hey Buds,
I received my Beretta M9 .22lr pistol at my FFL within a couple days and in great condition. The price was the best through Buds and the added Norton security guarantee helped seal the deal. I am looking forward to making future purchases at Buds. Thanks Buds.
