Got mine bout a month ago love it awesome shooter

I ordered my CVA Optima Muzzleloader back in September, and as Buds Gun Shop recommends to check the weapon when you first receive it, which I did, everything looks fine. So I went and put it in my safe until muzzleloading season starts in November. Two weeks before muzzleloading season started, I got my rifle out, to sight it in, when I went to remove the windage and elevation caps on my scope, I noticed the little Clicker on the elevation was cracked therefore it would not hold its position. Every time you shot the gun the scope would be not out of line again. I knew I couldn't return the scope because I waited too late. The scope must had gotten damaged during shipping, I would never have thought to remove the Caps off the settings to see if it has been damaged. So my advice to you, if you ordered a rifle with a scope be sure you check your your windage and elevation settings. Have no problem with budsgunshop they've done a terrific job. However the next time I will be more thorough.

I had to reline bore it , but it shoots good and got it at a good price

Great rifle! It only took four shots to have it zeroed. Shipping was fast and easy. I looked at other websites and they wanted a lot more for the same rifle. I even ordered everything I needed and saved money. I would recommend this rifle & shopping at Bud's to anyone.

Received my CVA PR2022SSC yesterday. Gun was packaged well in a new unopened mfgr box. The gun was in perfect mfgr new condition and looked great-even better than the pictures. Gun is well built with quality parts. Looking forward to shooting it this weekend. Very happy with the experience with Buds and the gun from CVA.
