Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, been running snapcaps through it for practice and it functions perfectly. At 36 inches long the size is great for my intended use which is home defense, and as I am currently traveling and working in an RV, it's perfect.

Solid platform. Very reliable. Have had the gun for a few years now and have only had problems that were user error. Mag spring has been reliable and hasn’t needed to be replaced. All the ATI mods have been great. It was a little difficult to get the stock off the first time in order to drop the trigger group out for cleaning but after the first time it hasn’t given me any more trouble. I really like the butt pad and the padding on the pistol grip. The heat shield is also great. Doesn’t just look cool. I filled out the shell holders on the side saddles from the ATI website for very cheap. Bought extras just in case but have never had any trouble with them. Very happy with my purchase.

Looks cool. It arrived with a broken safety switch. Mossberg ignored all of my calls and emails. I had to pay a lot in return shipping to get it repaired after BudsGunShop helped arrange a repair with Mossberg.

This is the second firearm I have bought from Bud's, and the transactions have been easy and fast. This shotgun was purchased for home defense, and is a blast (no pun intended) to shoot at the tactical range. I have already put a Sig Romeo 5 XDR Predator sight and an Inforce FDE light on it. Looks great! Also got a single point sling for the range, as it can be a bit heavy for long periods of time.

Love the look and function, bad ass tactical shotty. A little heavy, but it’s worth buying.

This is a fantastic shotgun, well worth the money. One thing I would mention, I got the impression from reading some of the comments that this only came with three side saddles, so I was going to order some extras at some point. However when I unboxed there are three mounted, and also another six packaged up that you can mount if you like, for a total of nine.

I have had this for a couple of months now and I have to say, it is freaking AWESOME! Only shot slugs out of it so far, but man is this thing a beast. It handles great and I haven't had any issues with it.

Out of the box shot well. Definitely more kick than the Benelli Supernova I had been practicing on. Groupings shot with 00 9 buckshot were good but I think it the sights shot a little low but could just be me. Happy with the purchase.

Your typically well built Mossberg accessorized with lots of ATI hardware. The exact reason I purchased it was the adjustable stock so both my wife and I can shoot it comfortably. Excellent sights for quick target acquisition. Only negative was one cheek plate screw appeared cross threaded. I couldn’t loosen it up to adjust the cheek plate. Although this slipped through ATI quality control Mossberg just installs these attachments on their guns so no reflection on them. This is a well balanced shotgun that I can’t wait to take it bird hunting next fall. Thanks to Budsguns for shipping this item out promptly.

100 shells in with no issues. The gun has more than the basics and its hard to beat that price. Mossberg is a reliable company and Im more than happy with this gun. Have hit targets using slugs about 45 yards out.

What an awesome shotgun. Fit & finish is perfect. The action is smooth, well made and durable. I like the grip that comes with this model. It is very comfortable and absorbes some of the recoil. Adjustable stock makes this easy for me or the wife to shoot and helps with some of the kick. I have searched the web for this shotgun for the best deal. Buds had the best deal and the only company that them available. My searching for firearms are over, just go to Buds and you know you received the best deal out there.

The talo scorpion is very nice, just got back from the range with it, performed flawlessly with 50 federal slugs, paid with credit card on Thursday got notification it was shipping following Wednesday then arrived Thursday, from submit order to my hands exactly one week in Michigan, Ergonomics are perfect feels great, it is heavier than I expected but that’s no issue at all, this thing does kick! But my shoulder is not sore so I feel like the pad on the back did a great job! Very happy with buds will shop here again!

Being my first shotgun I went into the purchase completely unaware of what to expect however I must say I am super impressed as always. The Moss 500 just looks and feels amazing. I have yet to shoot it however I fully expect the hype to live up to its name. That said speaking in terms of Buds themselves I couldn't be happier. Unbelievably fast shipping. As in 2 days. I did have one issue with the mag follower getting stuck in the mag tube. A gentle tap by a local shop fixed it though. Overall dealing with Buds is one of the best gun purchasing exp I have had

What can I say, amazing. Right out of the box it looks and feels ferocious. The additional tactical furniture it comes with makes this a phenomenal buy for the price. I did unfortunately open the box, which was incredibly damaged, to find that the front sight had broken off. There was no fixing it but a quick call to Mossberg solved that. They quickly sent me a replacement heat shield that has the front site attached. Unfortunately I believe this came from the Buds warehouse like this, condition of box and all, as the shipping box itself was pristine. Nevertheless, took it out to the range and absolutely love it. Would highly recommend it.
