Best handgun ever, versatile for carry options, sticky holster also makes an inside the waistband holster for this gun with the TLR7 attached. Trigger has a long pull with single action fires, surprisingly light with double action. The length of the pull is not too long and actually helps with practicing a steady squeeze. Takedown is simple and quick. Construction is great with multiple grip attachments and a newly reinforced magwell. The case comes with a box for tools and parts as well as a silencer pouch that all sticks with velcro to the inside of the case. With 15 rounds of 45acp flush in the mag, what more could you ask for?

This is a great pistol. 15 rounds of .45acp with a crisp trigger. Even the double action trigger is nice. Look really good with a 508t on the top.

Loved the black 1 so much, I had to get the FDE 1. Put a vortex opmod red dot and shoots like a dream!

Awesome gun had about 2 or 3 stovepipes in 600 rounds and that was in the beginning. I love this gun and it’s extremely well made. Buds delivered quickly as always.

Buds comes through! This is my third firearm purchase, all orders have been quick and with no issues. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet, I'm just working on building my ammo supply up first.

This pistol is a dream to shoot. 15+1 round capacity in .45 sounds like a workout, but this well balanced firearm makes it a mere stroll in the park. Double action is great for dry fire practice with a laser system at home and single action is smooth with live rounds at the range. It is a premium quality gun and is ready for the accessories and add-ons. Buds service was exemplary, ordered on a Wednesday and shipped on Thursday. A wonderful experience from beginning to end!

This is a serious 45. Sights work well with a silencer and it runs smooth with one. My only complaint is the slide release seems a bit small which seems to be normal for FN. Very accurate. This is one you want to hang on to if you ever decide to seel some of your guns. The canvas case is nice and comes with easy to rearrange pockets/retainers. Except for the large FN emblazoned on the side it would be a great unobtrusive case to carry around.

First, thanks to Buds gun shop to make a dream come true ! The FN Tactical is like a tank. has everything, don't need to do nothing, just take it to the range and shoot 2 box of ammo. The sight is dead on, the trigger is perfect i enjoy it so much ! Again, thanks Buds.

I have only put about 100 rounds through this, but I thought I should cover some things for those buying this...
Cons:
1) It came with a blemish on it. I did not notice it until I got it home in better light. I was told by FN that the only way it could have happened is if someone was playing with the gun before I bought it. I'm not sure I really buy that. Keep in mind this gun was several hundred dollars cheaper when I bought it than it is now. Maybe they were just kicking out the blemished ones.
2) The mag well release came un-beveled, and would thus sometimes catch on the magazine when inserting it. I had to send it back to FN to get a beveled one.
3) You cannot work on this thing on your own. Just look at the take down vids on YouTube. You can only break it down enough to clean it.
4) You cannot dry fire it because this can damage the firing pin, but why not just make it out of tool steel? Like with the same metal used for impact sockets? This shouldn't be an issue.
5) Compared to my Ruger Toklat, the trigger feels rubbery... and I am talking about the pull, not the texture of it. It is not a crisp trigger. I don't know how people are saying the trigger is good. The 1911 trigger freaks would hate it. It seems to be accurate at close range though.
6) The action of the safety has a rubbery no crisp feel to it when engaging the safety.
7) It has to be inspected every 2000 rounds. I kinda think that's silly. Shoulda got a PX4 (150,000 rounds, no breakages).
8) It eats ammo. If you want to reload, just know that it chips up casings and even bullets due to the severe angle at which the round enters the chamber and the harsh feeder and extractor hooks.
9) Do not use P . It will void your warranty. FN says P is fine.
Pros:
1) It's freaking loaded. It has everything. Night sights, 3 mags, extended barrel, threaded barrel... you can carry it locked and cocked or de-cocked and locked... it has everything... everything... I mean everything! No need to modify anything.
2) 15 rounds of 45 acp
3) It's plastic, so it won't make your hands so cold in the winter
4) Never had any failure to feed or failure to eject. But I have only put 100 rounds through it. I tried federal eagle, magtech, and armscor 230 grain FMJ. They all worked well, even the low powered armscor (374 lb ft of energy if I recall correctly)... or maybe it was the magtech that was low powered... I cannot recall.
Overall it seems like a reliable gun, I just hope the firing pin holds up unlike the 509 striker. Wish it was easier to work on.

FN Tactical is awesome. Used the M9 for many years but, cannot compare this side arm to to the Tactical. FN did a awesome job in producing a double stack in .45ACP, with15 1, how can you go wrong. Arrives with three 15rnd mags, carrying case and many extras. Shoots great, good grouping, no jams.

After receiving my FNX45 tactical in its own carry case with three 15rd magazines, 4 backstrap choises , lock and manual , I was I pleased by the build quality and engineering put into the firearm. Shooting experience was a pleasure, this particular firearm being very accurate and controllable with a tiny trigger reset . target acquisition is natural, like pointing a finger. If you wish to conceal carry I would suggest inside the waistbelt as it is a large piece of equipment. Happy customer.

This is the best 45 acp I have ever shot. It is kind of unbelievable. It feels good in your hands, it is deceivingly lightweight, and it shoots sooo darn smooth, you barely realize you're firing a 45. I have wanted this pistol of several years, but could never justify the cost. One day I just said F it and went for it, finding it here for a few hundred cheaper than my LGS and boy am I glad I did. The FNX 45 Tactical is a treat to own, and damn does it look good.

Very nice and reliable pistol. VERY BIG, so if you're looking to conceal carry, this may not be your best option. But for a range weapon it's great. Haven't put a red dot sight on it yet but looking at the Trijicon RMR and the Holosun HS507C. Magazines hold 1 rounds of .45 ACP ammo. Not bad. Highly recommend this pistol to anyone.

Beautiful gun.Ran 200+ rounds of Federal,Remington and Wolf .Preformed flawlessly.Nightsights are great.The size of the pistol is roughly the same as my Glock 20sf.Thanks Buds!

As described. It's a factory gun. It showed up flawless.

The gun is un apologetically large yet feels balanced and great in the hand.Trigger is excellent.Smooth pull through on initial shot followed by a very short reset and light pull.In fact in will easily bump fire if you're not used to it. The gun by far will shoot better than I can but is a pleasure. I mounted a Vortex Venom mini red dot sight that co-witnesses with front sight of gun and is spot on accurate.Comes in a great custom case (no crappy cardboard box) with 3 magazines! Excellent gun I highly recommend it!

Great handgun. FN really out did them selves on the FNX45. Highly recommend it. Shot 150 rounds, no problems.

It's the first time i've purchased a firearm online and Buds made it a breeze! This FNX .45 Tactical is by far the best shooting .45 ACP i've ever owned and shot. It looks great, shoots great, smooth as silk and is an absolute beast! This is my home defense .45 and also my backpacking firearm that I carry. Once I get a 1911 I'll which one i'll carry in the woods. Accuracy is amazing. It's a tack driver! I've never had any issues with this firearm even after 1000 rounds through it or more. I highly recommend FNH USA and stand by their product as this is the second FNX .45 Tactical that I own.
