I love this pistol. Solid gun, accurate, very controllable recoil and never had a malfunction. High capacity is great and mags are easy to find. Literally the only downside is there is no pic rail in the front to mount a light. If that doesn't bother you 10/10.

Tri Star S-120 9mm (Canik 55 / CZ 75 clone) in one word? = A W E S O M E ! ! ! ... I had to choose between a Beretta 92 S and a relatively unknown at the time CZ 75 and always wondered about them since then. This Tri Star S-120 is a virtual exact copy of the original CZ 75 , I was so pleasantly surprised by this superb "wonder nine" clone I odered a CZ 75 B Omega from Bud's, ... Yeah, I really like Bud's ! ... Oh, by the way, I bought my wife a silver (cerakote) Tri Star S-120 when I got mine and she LOVES hers too

Buds was great as usual. Shipped to my FFL dealer was fast. The fit and feel of the pistol is the same as my CZ75B. I would not hesitate recommending this pistol to a friend for target shooting or carry. I did replace the grips just because I prefer the rubberized ones, but there is nothing wrong with the factory grips, just my preference. Flawless performance.

It’s the best pistol I own, and I own some that cost 3xs as much. I would definitely recommend it for someone looking for a CZ 75 clone. I don’t know about all of them but mine will take CZ mags.

Great gun, no problems whatsoever, completely reliable and feeds whatever I put in it. The only thing I changed were the plastic grips for CZ rubber combat grips.

Well constructed, good finished. Classic design. A beauty. This is my first buy at BUDSGUNSHOP, and I'm happy with the results. The guys on the local dealer where I picked up the gun were friendly and highly professionals.

I'm very pleased with this Canik S-120. As others have said, it's certainly a heavy gun (especially coming from polymer framed pistols). I purchased it with the intention of it being stricly a range gun. Very little recoil and very accurate. The sights on mine are spot on (although I will probably replace them with some TruGlo TFX sights). The fit and finish are great - I can't find any flaws. The feed ramp is polished to a mirror-like shine, which is indicative of their attention to detail. I've put about 500 rounds of 115g FMJ range ammo through it so far with zero issues. The example I received has a squared off trigger guard, as well as Mec-Gar magazines with a plastic base plate, which is different from the picture shown here, FYI.

This was my first purchase from Bud's and it was a pleasure ordering from them. The gun seems to have very good fit and finish and has functioned 100% with just a few hundred rounds through it. Definitely a good value and a very nice shooting gun.

I just got the gun yesterday (9/7/17) and my initial impression was good. I compared it to my c100 and noticed the finish was not near as good. It was kind of dull. My c100 had a nice uniform shine to it. I was expecting a firearm with the same look and finish just a little bigger. The rear sight wasn't centered. It was more to the left side. I adjusted the sight. It would have shot to the right by a big margin where it was at. I put around 200 rounds through it today. I would alternate between the c100 and the s120. The c100 was a much better shooter. I bought this gun for better accuracy and less recoil due to length of the barrel and weight of the gun. I just couldn't get her hitting where I wanted. I was shooting an 8in target from 15 yards. I was hitting it, just not the way I was expecting to. My c100 was grouping all around the bullseye. The c100 is what sold me getting this gun. I'll give it a few more outings before I make a decision on keeping it or selling it off. On the plus side. It fired everything I put in it. No hiccups at all. Recoil was nice and smooth. The trigger was what I was expecting. I even ran a box of steel wolf ammo through it. It shot better with the Wolf than the Federal. I was kind of disappointed overall with this firearm. Maybe I set my bar to high for a pistol that was a little over $300.

Best darn pistol for the price that I have EVERYTHING came across. Beats out the TP9 except for weight...This is a heavy pistol.

Very excellent CZ clone made by Canik of Turkey. I'm really happy with the fit and finish. No obvious machine marks that I can detect. Yavex 115gr shot a nice group with no malfunctions even though I limp wristed one of them pretty badly. Highly recommend for anyone considering a CZ75 but are looking for a bargain.

First, Buds is great with fast shipping. This firearm has met all expectations. I upgraded the grips and purchased a couple of mec gar 19 round magazines for it. Haven't had a problem yet. Put about 100 rounds through it so far (winchester white box ammo). Very accurate out of the box. Almost no recoil. One of the guys at the local indoor range swears by the quality of Canik guns. I will be picking up another real soon.

This handgun feels great. It feels even better with Hogue, rubber grips. I would recommend field stripping and lightly lubricating it before using it (it was a little stiff at first). I gauged the single action trigger at 4.5 lbs and double action at 11 lbs. First, I fired cheap, TulAmmo from Walmart (115FMJ, brass) and it didn't seem very accurate...most likely in part because of the ammo. When I fired some of my own reloads of Hornady 115 FMJ with Power Pistol...it shot really well at 10 yards..several bullseye shots even. I am really happy with this handgun so far and it has become my main, fun shooter.

I am a fan of the CZ-75 type pistols. My review is based on both trigger time with this Tristar 75 B clone and comparisons with my Pre B CZ-75. The Tristar comes well equipped with a nice case, 2 Mecgar magazines, a magazine loader and a rudimentary cleaning kit. The fit and finish of this pistol are quite good. The mat black finish is even and consistent. The fit between frame and slide is actually better than that of my CZ. The sights are a 3 dot type and are adequate. The grips are cheap plastic and fairly slick. The trigger is quite heavy: about 7-8 lb single action and 12 lb in double action. This hampers accuracy and is the only mechanical issue I have found with the gun. All in all this is a very solid gun. I have replaced the grips, front sight and have done a trigger job and am quite happy with my purchase. I believe this pistol is a solid, servicible gun out of the box and can be turned into a great shooter with a few parts and a little work.
