This is a great 10 shot 22 LR while staying true to the original design. It's an entirely different feel when pulling the trigger compared to one of my Ruger Wranglers or one of my Heritage Rough Riders. The trigger is narrower for one thing. The pull is lighter than the Wrangler and heavier than the Rough Rider. I love it and with a wooden grip upgrade, it's a fantastic addition to my 22 LR Cowboy revolver collection!!!

This gun worked fine, but with no adjustable sights, it will never be my favorite.

I got this single action 22 primarily for shooting Colibre ammo from Aquila. It's perfect for that, and it's great fun as the report is so quiet you don't need ear protection. The 20 grain bullet clocks at about 400 FPS through my chrono. No recoil and fair accuracy, it's a perfect starter round for the grandkids. The Chiappa does just fine with regular or hot long rifle ammo as well. For a sub-2 bills gun, this is a well built revolver. I've had zero issues with it, it's a simple single action and works like you would expect. Mine has the 10 round cylinder (the same as my Ruger target semi-auto) so plinking with the mrs. stays syncronized. I also got the 5.5 inch barrel, which makes the thing just a little large for my smallest hard case. Overall, this is an inexpensive but very nice firearm. Highly recommended.
