Big gun with a big grip. Wanted one before CZ discontinued them. Shoots like a CZ, great. If you like the CZ 75 and wear XL gloves and want more power, then this is the gun for you. Extra mags are hard to find and are pricey when you do. A 45 cal that not too many people know about.

Firearm is great as expected. Fit and finish is superb. Horrible ordering experience but that's not cz's fault.

Great gun. Low recoil for a 45. Eats everything so far. The only thing I was disappointed in is there was a small scratch on the slide but not worth sending back over. Love the gun

This CZ 97 B is a beast of a gun. On a par with my Beretta 96, or M-9, perhaps a bit heavier. Because I live in the Democratic Peoples Republic of Kommiefornia I can't order the
de-cocker model. Bummer!

Well worth the money. This one compares and equal to any of my 1911's

The CZ 97 is a very well made pistol. At the range it functioned l without a mishap. I fired 230 gr FMJ ball factory ammo as well as reloads (4.5 gr Bullseye and Winchester large pistol primers).

I took my new CZ 97b to the range today. It is the best shooting 45 cal I have ever fired.200 rounds without a single failure of any kind. It is a handful but my hands are of average size and it felt great. It is easy to take down for cleaning and lubing, 15 seconds with no tool takedown. The fit and finish are top notch. It is very accurate right out of the box. It comes with 2 10 round mags which is cool. Recoil is minimal as it is an all steel frame, no plastic guns please. I also own a CZ 75bd in 9mm which is also awesome. I have not seen a better 45 cal for $200 more that I would trade for! Reliable, accurate and built like a tank. I would recomend to anyone wanting to step up to a 45. Buds service was quick and efficient. I am totally satisfied and will return again. it is the best value for the money-nothing else close in this price range-bar none!

Ordered the CZ 97B from Bud's and received it in about 4 days. Took it out to the range today along with a Sig Sauer 1911 45. Out of all of my 45 caliber firearms, the Sig Sauer was my favorite until today. This 97 is great. First two clips from ten yards were within a 3 inch pattern. Went to 15 yards and hitting within 5 inches. Great gun and it was a pleasure dealing with Buds.

What a beautiful piece, came right on time from Buds, packaged well, two mags, tool, cleaning brush, etc. All steel construction makes this a great weapon but after shooting I like even more. Solid solid solid! Not as large of a grip as I thought it was going to have. I do have to sy the wood grips are okay but I am looking at options of replacing. Took out shooting today after a good cleaning, no issues at all. Solid shooter, little recoil. I highly recommend to anyone and especially to a potenial 1911 buyer, this one should be on your list to check out.

What an amazing pistol! the fit and finish on this gun are better than my other cz, which is saying quite alot. Very well made gun. It is big, but if you can handle a beretta 92, you should be alright with this beast. slide to frame fit is better than some of the much more expensive guns that I own. Pretty much no wobble. Will shoot this weekend and update again. I expect it to perform like my other cz, which is extremely accurate and still hasn't had a malfunction. Used the E check payment method. This saved some money but adds a few days to the process (took 9 days to get the gun). Over all very happy with this purchase

This is just an awesome gun. The most accurate and softest shooting .45 I've ever fired, it feels like a 9mm. Put about 150 rounds through it so far with no failures at all. I was putting rounds through the same hole at 15 yards no problem. This is now my favorite handgun that I currently own.

I was in the market for a .45 and since I love my cz75 I thought I would try this cz97 out. It did not disappoint. I sent 200 rounds downrange today with no issues. Very accurate. Was holding 3" groups at 25 yards shooting off hand without rest, which is about as good as I can do. This is a gun is definitely made for large hands. I couldn't imagine someone other then a big guy getting his paws around the grips. Which for me is perfect but if you've ever had issues with large guns might want to avoid this one. Other than that no problems. Love this gun. Thanks to Buds for the layaway and shipping quick, I buy all my guns here now. Lowest prices and no sales tax when they come in which covers the small $25 FFL fee anytime.

I have a heavenly host of CZ 9mm handguns and this one was gonna just be an oddball in the collection that I would have fun with, occasionally, doing the "big bang theory" with some fat .45 acp rounds. Then I went to the indoor range and the first live round out of this thing was a bullseye at 10 yards! TIght groups at that range and longer quickly followed. Now I'm in love. I'm pretty sure I'll find a way to carry this big boy for CC on occasion. Tremendous example of a CZ and one of my faves now. If you are thinking about this one for your CZ collection, it won't be complete without it. Get one! You won't be disappointed.

I love this gun. This is the best fealimg 45 I have ever felt in my hand. I think the 1911 is a great gun but this holds 10 +1 versus 8+1in thw 1911. I have heard that these do not feed hollow points, I have tried some and I have not had any failures to feed. This is a very accurate gun and will compete with any 45 out there for half as much. Only complaint I have, the trigger is a little ruff out of the box but shot in pretty good after 150 rounds.
