The grey frame with the tb is cheaper than the black in the same config. Is this model older than the black frame or what?

Adam, the Grey Frame pistol has not been as popular as the Black frame pistol. Buds likely has adjusted the price down to help move inventory. The Grey model is the same gen as the black version.
