Heritage Manufacturing Rough Rider .22 LR 6.5" Blue Factory Blemish

GREAT deal on this revolver! Although it is a "factory blemish" you can hardly notice it by looking at the finish. A fun target pistol!

Received my Heritage RR a few weeks ago but wanted to take it out on the range before making my comments. First I got the Blue Factory Blemish 22LR - 6.5", and let me say that it was received in excellent condition. The front site does have a slight lean to the left, but I will soon fix that. I found mine to be very accurate. For the price, it is a great little PLINKER. I teach NRA classes, so now I can show students a single action revolver without spending $400. I was very dissapointed with this gun. Took it out and it shot 4 inches to the left and an inch low at 10 yds. I have had these guns before and they always shot excellent. Contacted Heritage and they said to send it in and they would fix it. I mailed it out Tuesday. We will see what happens. Still dissapointed that I had to spend $15.00 to send a new gun in to get fixed. Will report on this again when I get it back. I will have to say this gun looked very good. I could not see anything wrong with the finish even though it was a factory blemish and the grips look much better than they do in picture.

I had to look carefully to find the blemish on the frame of this revolver. The FFL receiver was most impressed with this pistol at the price I paid. I used the coupon for the 22 Mag cylinder and Heritage sent it within a week. Thanks to Bud's for alerting me to this deal (Steal) for a quality firearm.

love this gun! it is much sturdier than i expected and fun to shoot. the blemish on this gun is just a small dent on the bottom of the grip and is very hard to see. shipping was lightning fast! only took 3 days to get to maine. i will definatley be buying more guns from buds!

Physically, this is a good solid gun, well made, beautiful wood grips, no functional problems at all. It shot good out of the box, the shell ejector worked smoothly, as did the hammer block, trigger, and all other features. I've always said: "You get what you pay for." and Cosmetically, I did. The "blemish" is quite obvious on this revolver, the entire left side of the barrel, (when aiming), is a thin / mottled bluing job compared to the rest of the gun. But with that said, going into the deal, I KNEW I was getting a "blemish" sale item, so no problem as far as I'm concerned. This will make an excellent pick-up gun for plinking. For the price, it can't be beat. I highly recommend one, especially for the bargain hunter. I probably would have given it a 5 star rating, had the "blemish" not covered about half the gun.

I ordered this pistol and its everything that i was expecting and more. i had this .22 revolver for about a month and put it through a torture of testing with all types of ammo. to date about 1500 round of all kinds. the gun i received was a little harsh on the finish but nothing to noticeable . I've had no failure to fires or any other issues. i was looking for a time killer gun at the rang and was in the market for a cheap 22. it turns out that shooting this gun is a complete joy and i don't look at it as a time killer anymore its earned its spot as part of the pack of fire arms i have. the gun shoots true at 25 yards and thats all i was hoping for. every time i shoot this gun i think to myself what a great purchase and very happy i did. when comparing it to a ruger single six yes the ruger will have a better finish but i wasn't in the market to look at a gun i just want to shoot a lot of rounds without any problems and this gun is it.

I could not be more please with any SA at this price. I expected to find some marks or faults on the gun....nothing. I could not find any faults whatsoever. Bench rest firing at 25 ft showed perfect sight alignment. Nice gun at a nice price.
