  1st the item must have a price match request tab on the right side near add to cart you select price match request it opens a window where you will enter the price you found and where you found it. if Buds cant match it they will say they cant match that price it the can they will put the item in you cart. It will stay in your cart at that price for 1 hour if you want to buy the you go to your cart and check out if you don't want it you can either remove it from your cart or it will go away in a hour.

• Q: Does this rifle have a mil spec or commercial buffer tube? Just asking because I would like to upgrade the stock.

• Q: Is this material better in the barrel or is an chrome lined barrel better? I believe chrome lined, for lone time use an better for commercial ammo. Just making sure

  Jerek - "chrome lined' barrels originated when the military was looking to increase barrel life on the M-16. They were trying to cut down a bit on having to change out barrels, which were being worn out from sustained automatic fire.. While the chrome lining has been shown to increase barrel life, it also detracts somewhat from accuracy, and is harder to clean than, for example, nitride bores. Seems the truth is, the vast majority of 'civilian' AR-15 owners will probably never wear out a nitrided barrel as (1) there is no sustained automatic fire and (2) most AR-15s don't get shot enough to wear out a barrel. Long range shooters, as a rule, avoid chrome lined barrels. An AR-15 barrel, in general, will last for 10,000, 15,000 or more rounds without accuracy dropping any significant amount, for us 'occasional range shooters' (which by far includes the vast majority of AR-15 owners). I have an AR with well over 10,000 rounds (of many types of ammo) through the tube, and it will is pretty much a 1.5 MOA shooter. The barrel is not chrome lined. That gun is about 10 years old. I think the 'chrome lined' factor is just over-hyped, and most of us will never shoot our ARs enough to matter. Personally, I'll opt in favor of the non-chromed barrels every time. Hope this helps.

  Bushmaster uses a .625 gas block on their pencil barrel rifles. I would verify directly with Bushmaster Customer Service if this is still the case as my rifle is 3 years old at Phone: 1-800-883-6229.

• Q: I purchased bushmaster rifles on 11/15/2017 they had a $150 . so far getting the rebate has been impossible even after contacting the rebate folks by email. ( of course no phone number) they cant read the purchase dates I submitted a new purchase receipt from buds showing I was entitled to the rebate.a woman named Monique sent me an email saying the rebate ended in 11/18 and I purchased it on 11/22 which is the shipping date ! I still haven't got my rebates 3 rifles! no more bushmasters!

  I would contact Buds again they should be able to provide a receipt with the date you Paid for the item (not shipped) customer service (859) 368-0371 9am-9pm mon-fri I would also contact bushmaster Phone: 1-800-883-6229 and inform them of your issues with the rebate (please be calm and professional) they may give you another number or contact person to speak with. Good luck This is why I hate Rebates
