For starters this rifle is no longer stamped under the Arsenal brand much to my surprise. Apparantly over the past summer the Izhmash factory started stamping their rifles under the FIME Group brand which is also out of Las Vegas like Arsenal. From searching the web its still the same rifle with Arsenal parts installed just with a different company stamped on it. It even comes still in an Arsenal box and with Arsenal test target. Arsenal's parent company K-Var Group probably created FIME group for probably something doing with export laws/ limits. The rifle seems very well made and solid. My front sight post was straight. On my test target that came with the rifle the groupings were 2.5-3" to the left. Surprise surprise when I got it out to the range it did the same at 25 yards. That tells me they knew the sights were off and did nothing to correct it at the factory. Couldn't even hit paper at 100 yards. Gonna have to order a sight pushing tool from midway to fix it. The gun did run flawlessy and grouped well at 25 yards, just 3" to the left. Overall its a good solid rifle, but its sights should have been corrected at the factory after the the test fire. Bud's shipping was fast and flawless as usual

I just picked this up today at the local FFL. Packaged perfectly. Sights are dead on. I haven't shot it yet but the test fire was with Golden Bear ammo (luckily Ive been buying a lot of Golden Bear). Not that it should make a giant different but its nice to match it anyways.. The one beef I have is the grip.. I have the M10 762 also and the grip on there is excellent so Ill throw a different grip on this as well.. Other than that it looks amazing.

Well another perfect Buds transaction... Great price...great selection... fast shipping..etc... The rifle is quite nice... trigger feels great... sights line up really well... bottom line... Arsenal is what you'd expect it to be.... the Cadillac of AKs..... I don't know if its any "better" than a wasr, but it sure as hell looks like it is. Been wanting an Arsenal for a long time.... Very happy with the whole transaction..

Great rifle. Received it last Tuesday, and after replacing that girly grip it comes with for a hogue grip (excellent inexpensive grip) I went out and put about 350 rounds through it today with no problems. Used 3 different kinds of cheap Russian ammo. Goes bang every time. Bud's had it to me in 3 days. Recommended.

All I can say is WOW!! I'm sorry I waited so long to get this thing, I'd originally gotten a 'straight'/luckily fine WASR-10 cause I didn't wanna cough up the change for the Arsenal's, I saved money and the rifle was good, hammer forged chromed too. I just KICKED myself everytime I looked at it and haden't waited for the extra time and $ for this! I finally got it,(hate that the ACH payment takes so long to clear on the last layaway payment though, wish it was faster..)But, it's GORGEOUS! The receiver and barrel are made in Russia at the same factory, IZHEVSK, as my matching #'s '42 Mosin-Nagant! Definitely worth the money, every part of the rifle says QUALITY(new #'s matching parts, of course), it is also very well balanced and 'flicks' to the shoulder VERY WELL w/the NATO length stock, a BIG IMPROVEMENT for most American's over 5'8(I have been used to an extra 3/4lb I had in parts on WASR, but still)! The included test target is a 1'3" 3-shot group at 25M, they're just cloverelaf'd. Fit and finish are both top notch, especially good since it's a baked on enamel 'paint' job, exactly like the Russian Militarys' AK-74N,74U,100-series(same as all vid's I've seen FROM FACTORY, like Tales of The Gun, tours on video's, etc). I'm so glad I went ahead and SOLD my WASR, paid $300 more and got what I WANTED, not try and dress one to look like it(MY PERSONAL preference is the -74 RUSSIAN look with -47 caliber). Will report on accuracy and function. Wanna add the same Tapco SAW grip my WASR had, might also change to tan furniture, can get stocks AFTERMARKET from Arsenal/K-VAR but can't find ANY rifle's being sold in tan, suck's. But. that, a sling, more ammo/range time and the K-VAR scope mount, MAYBE the rear peep Kreb's(?) and I'll be good! DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY, DEAD ON STRAIGHT from receiver, to the rivet's, the mag dimples are PERFECT and do a LOT to make it look and SEEM mush more authentic.... AS IT IS! Bud's also told me they double checked the gas block/front sight's on the Arsenal's after a recent problem gun, THAT'S SERVICE. Mine is PERFECTLY (thankfully, I was a lil' worried) straight, but I am sure Arsenal would fix it if it was off(1-yr warranty. Sure they'll work on it if you need after that like PTR-91 does.) And with the 74-muzzle break with a Bulgarian/K-VAR bayonet on it look's... NICE(got New Bulgy Bayo/same as K.V. from Centerfire Systems for $25 instead of $80 from K.V.!) BEAUTIFUL PIECE of Russian simplicity, utility, and ACCURACY all in one BEAUTIFUL PACKAGE! Would'nt mind another!

Love the rifle! Not a single problem with the product at all and It showed up very quickly. My small checklist before I accepted the trasfer from the ffl dealer was.... is the front sight canted, does a mil-spec steel mag fit snug, and is the weapon in perfect cosmetic condition. Arsenal really puts the bar quite high! Feeling the action(before shooting) shows that this is a very well made firearm. I am very happy about getting the NATO stock length since I am 6'5" it fits like a glove. I just cannot wait to get it out and run some rounds through it! I advise anyone who wants a well built and reliable AK to purchase this weapon! Now about Budsgunshop.... They answered any questions I had and obviously take pride in getting your purchase to you quickly. No complaints here and I will buy other firearms from them in the future for sure!

The shipping of this weapon was outstanding. It got here in 3 buisness days and I was able to pick it up the day it arrived. The only problem I have with the weapon is that the front sight is canted. After all of the big talk I have heard about Arsenal I was shocked to see a flaw that obvious. Buds sells it for a good price compared to anyone, but it is not as cheap as a WASR. I would expect this out of a 400-500 AK, but not one the costs 750 and up. Disappointed in the weapon, but very pleased with the process of getting it.
