REMINGTON MODEL 1187 LE USED - Blue/Black, 18.5" Barrel, Synthetic, 3" Chamber, Fixed Stock

Fast shipping. I picked up my shotgun this morning. It had some scratches where it rode around in the holder. Not much wear on the internals, I don't think it has been shot much. I ran 20 rounds of 00 buck. No problems at all. I would defiantly recommend it to any needing a good HD shotgun.

As always with Bud's, fast service! When I received the shotgun, I was surprised at how heavy it was (8.25 pounds unloaded when I looked up the specs). However, that just means it'll work great as a cudgel if I ever run out of ammo :-) The shotgun I received had a few very light (almost unnoticeable) scratches to the exterior matte black finish but, beyond that, looked almost new on the outside. The chamber had more obvious signs of use . . . but that is totally expected given that this is a used LE buyback. Overall, visually, I'd rate the shotgun as very good to excellent. Ran 25 shells through it this morning (Spartan Brand 2 3/4" 00 Buck) - each series starting with one in the chamber and four in the tube. Mechanically, the shotgun functioned perfectly in semi-auto - only had one stove pipe on extraction and that was the final shell. I am not sure what caused the hang up there - whether it was something with the shell or the shotgun. That being said, I still rate this as 5 Stars. It was fun to shoot, easy to bring to bear, hold on target and one heck of a deal at the price ($599). Another good deal from Bud's!

A little wear on the left side and top of receiver, but that's to be expected with a LE trade in. No rust or damage at all. After a cleaning, I went to the range and the 11-87 Police shoots like a dream! Cycles target low brass easily, and I did not have one FTF in 100 rds. I used 2 3/4" 3 dram 1200 fps target bird shot, and no problem. Very good buy for an almost half price semi-auto. I am a LEO, and can say from experience my particular shotgun was well maintained by the previous owner agency. Buds was very fast, and free shipping! Highly recommended
