As always the Remington 870 action cannot be beat. Smoothness and consistency comes to mind. Very fun gun to shoot the Magpul forend is a nice touch

Bought this after Remington went bankrupt. Never could get it to cycle right even after a licensed gunsmith tried to fix it. It is a boat anchor now.

Great shotgun for home defense. Easier to maneuver and handle than the 12 gauge Tac 14. I added a Holosun 510c for more precise shooting. Very happy w/ the quick shipping and delivery. I’m relatively new to Buds but already hooked.

Shot it this weekend with a group of friends. What a blast! Functioned flawlessly as expected. Put a smile on everyone’s face, I’m glad I went with the 20 gauge. Everyone should have one of these!

LOVE this (little?)gun !! "Only a 20Ga ?" - but it WILL jump out of your hands, the first time at the range! Great deal from Buds. Next gun? A semi-auto 'tactical' .410 (TR imports XT3 TAC?) (I hand load 410, & it's PLENTY "enough gun" for HD...) Now adding handloading 20G as well. (3", 3x.49cal. Balls- "BubbaRountree''s 20Ga version, of the GREAT Winchester .410 2.75" 3pp #000 "Predator" round - my fave for HD in a SnakeSlayerIV ) BTW - re: "Enough Gun?" ANY Shotty indoors, would be LOUD! Even 20G is too much. IMO 12G is WAYYY too much, -I'm a musician and need my ears- -and when #000 410 will drill a 4" hole THROUGH a man at HD range (<15' in OUR little retirement home)? Why go permanently deaf for one scumbag burglar?. JMO-&JME -Rod ("Twangeezer," in WV)

Buds was great as always. Also the only one I could find for a long time. Was waiting for this 20 ga to surface for a while. We have the 12 ga also. It is a beast. This 20 ga, as suspected is much more palatable. It was a total BLAST to shoot around the camp. Everyone loved it. Not to mention it is the perfect balance of neutralizer and handling ease for the whole family in home defense. The only issue was it came with a scratch and a mechanical issue on the receiver. Remington customer service was happy to assist at no charge and handled the situation in a very impressive turnaround time. Remington is back baby!

Love it in 20 gauge, just right. Cycles well all type of ammo I used, including some 1 3/4 long home rolled mini shells. Buds was slow to ship, order was marked as special order with shipping delays.
