Great gun very happy with buds gun shop will definitely but for here again

Very accurate, high quality pistol. Very little recoil for a gun that shoots cannon balls :) Buds Gun Shop delivered it quickly and it was priced much lower on this website.

The Kimber is a great pistol I have not shot it yet as I'm getting worked on.

I have only shot about 35 rds through it and had no issues. it seems like Its a Soild gun, Feels great, and Really fun to shoot. One con is that it's hard to take apart, I can't turn the barrel bushing buy hand and I have to push on the barrel to get the barrel bushing out. Its Super tight.

I shopped around a little and found that Bud's had the best price on this .45 Kimber Stainless II. I had to wait about a week or so for it to be delivered to my FFL due to the Labor Day Holiday but that's okay. The FFL gun shop had this handgun in stock BUT it was listed for $200 more than Bud's! Yes $200 more! On my first trip to the range, after going through 50 rounds of 230gr FMJ, there were several feeding issues. On the second trip to the range, I shot another 50 rounds and noticed that the feeding issues were fewer. These were maybe "break-in" related. I suspect this will go away entirely on it's own and am not concerned. Otherwise this is a beautiful handgun and I really enjoy the feel of it, with recoil not being a problem (this handgun has some weight to it). Simply put, this handgun is awesome! I can recommend this Kimber!

Have not had a chance to get it to the range yet, but it is tight, clean, and feels very well put together. Disassembles easy, cleaned and lubed. Will run 100+ rounds of FMJ through it & report back on any issues

My first 1911 Really like it. Very accurate and zero troubles. Nothing needs to be changed it is just ready to go.

The purchasing process was easy. The gun arrived on time. I got a great price on my Kimber. As usual for Kimber, it is an outstanding weapon.

Very nice pistol.Picked it up at the gun range and did a field strip and lubricated before shooting. I have to say that I am not new to Kimber, I have been collecting them since 2009 andthis is the tightest one I have ever had, reminds me of my Standard Manufacturing 1911. When I striped it at the range I thought that I would never get the barrel bushing off, thank goodness that I had a barrel wrench with me! I finally got it off and the slide removed and everything lubricated, it was pretty dry. After fighting the recoil spring and bushing back on I was ready to test fire. As usual it perfomed as it should have, worked every time I pulled the trigger with no hicups and nice trigger pull.It was yery accurate with 2"-3" groups but a couple of inches to the right. I checked and found the front sight was slightly off center. I put 150 rounds through it whie I was there with no problems. Luckly I have a sight pusher and scooted the front sight over a bit when I got back home and it should be fine now. I have added a Kimber ambi safety (left handed) and a Kimber bumped grip safety and am very happy with my purchase. I also have a Black steel version of this pistol and it is one of my favorites to shoot. So anyway my humble opinion is you can't go wrong with this model of Kimber pistol and should be very happy with it.
