Fabulous gun!! It shoots exactly where you aim it-very accurate. Have put about 500 rounds (winchester) through it without a hiccup. It feels and handles just like you'd expect from a Sig. The night sights are a real plus as are the 3 mags. Sigs are defiinitely worth the money. Dealing with Buds is soooo easy. Between the e-mails regarding your order and shipping, you know exactly where your weapon is. Have bought 3 guns from Buds and it's really hard to beat their prices and customer service. They are a class operation.

This was not only my first purchase from Buds but also my first firearm purchase ever and it couldn't have been better. I was a little unsure of doing business online for something like a handgun but this deal was to good to pass up. It took a little longer then I would have liked to arrive but it did arrive and was just as described. It's a great gun and I can't wait to get it to the range. The first SIG I purchased and it wont be my last. Being as I have smaller hands the E2 grip works perfect. This has to be the most acurate pistol I own . The SRT trigger system makes follow up shots a breeze. With the 3 mags and night sites this was a steal. Thanks Buds!

Been waiting a long time to find out which gun I wanted. I am a small guy with small hands and consequently have few choices. My debate was between many different handguns for various reasons (Beretta m9, HK USP, FN Five-Seven, etc.) but ultimately everything lead me back to Sig Sauer. Their reliability is legendary, but they are usually a bit fat for my hands. However, when I heard they released the e² series I was in heaven. I knew I had to have this gun. Everywhere I could find it available it was $1k easy. Yet here it was for less then $800. Buds gun shop was my first gun purchase (ever), and it was very easy! Three high-cap 15 round mags with night sights in my favorite 9mm -- I couldn't ask for more. I took it to the range the other week and was in love with it. I can't wait to get my CCW and a shoulder holster for it. The only gripe I have is the polymer guide rod, but that's fine until I replace it. It'll hold up, but I prefer metal over plastic. Which is why I didn't go with a Glock =)

Good value on a Sig workhorse. $739 for a p229 with night sights and the srt trigger is a good deal. The fact that it comes with 3 mags makes it a real bargain. Like all my other sigs, this p229 shoots wonderfully. It cycles all my factory and reloaded ammo perfectly. Its an all metal 9mm so it really does a great job of soaking up the recoil. Sigs are higher end- you get what you pay for. This one is worth it.

It comes with 3 mags and night sights so it's a steal for the price. The new E2 grip and the SRT are the new standard. It does have plastic guide rod but you can buy the upgrade metal rod from Sig Sauer.

Cons Foam padding inside case looks like the case belongs to larger P226 Elite with beavertail and with 20-round mag. No cleaning tools included whatsoever with exception of little tube with Mil-Comm TW 25B. Plastic guide rod.

Immaculate pistol. The new slimmed grip and SRT trigger are great addition to an already fine handgun. Perfect fit in a Galco Summer Comfort holster. (SUM250B) In my hands seven days after I ordered it to Washington State. That's after the Postal Service held it at the dealers PO Box for the weekend instead of delivering it. That's ahead of the scheduled shipping time, folks.

Great service from Bud's with the pistol in my hands 3 days after placing my order. This is a great deal on a wonderful firearm. The E2 updates slimmed the 229 down, including a redesigned slide and smaller grip. I have small hands and this thing fit like a glove. Sub 800.00 for night sights, and three mags forced me to pull the trigger. I have 350 rounds down range and the SRT and short trigger are amazing. Highly recommended pistola.
