This is an awesome rifle. I really enjoyed shooting shooting it right of the box. I normally only buy Remington 700s because I love the that platform. This Savage rifle has more to offer right out the box and accurate. It comes with the larger bolt knob and threaded barrel. These two option do not come with my Remington rifles at the same price point. I shot 1/2” MOA easily straight out the box and this gun is deadly on whitetail with the Hornady whitetail ammo. It’s hits like my 300 win but less recoil and it drops them right in their tracks. I would definitely recommend this rifle to anyone looking for a accurate bench set up for cheap and still hunting because it is a little on the heavy side. I give this gun 5 stars.

Have not shot my savage fcp sr rifle too much, just with the cheapest factory loads and it shot minute of angle at 100 yards. It functions well with no problems and shipped from Buds with no problems. Overall I like it so far. If I get my $100 rebate from savage I will be getting a lot of gun for the money.

Gun arrived right on time, but it had a marked up stock (black scuffs) and two actual damaged spots on the stock. Disappointing for sure. I cleaned up the stock, but can't fix the scuffs since its actual damage.

Shoots well; getting half to 3/4 inch 5 round groups at 100. Shot 125gr Winchester Deer XP, 140gr Federal Fusion, and 140gr Hornady Precision; all sub-moa 5-shot groups. Bolt was a little stiff at first, but smoothed out quickly. Only real negative to the system; the magazine. It doesn't seat well and will cause it to fall out. People are saying you have to do some strange rocking method to get it to lock in. Haven't quite figured it out yet. Once it is seated though; it is fine. Also; mine must be defective because it won't hold 10 rounds. Will hold 9 just fine; but you put in a 10th and two rounds will pop out. Because of the magazine issues; giving it 4 stars. Otherwise it is an amazing rifle.

50 rounds through her now, average group size is .620-.760” I like the Savage triggers, this one is no different than the others. I’ve experienced no failures, and the recoil pad is very nice. I would recommend the lowest scope rings you can find.

This is my second Savage model 10. I have a 10 FCP-HSP in 308 Win that is a tack driver out to 800 yards. I wanted the 6.5 creedmoor for the extra distance it can provide. I think this new rifle will be as good or better than the 308. I took it out yesterday for zeroing and turret testing on the SWFA 12x42 scope. I used 5 rounds to zero the rifle, 10 rounds to box the turrets, and another 10 rounds to work my come ups. The rest of the morning was spent shooting steel plate @ 350 yds. 10", 8", 6" and 4" proved too easy. 3" and 2" not so much with the 1" being very tough. With the right loads I think this thing will shoot very nicely to 1000 yards. I'm extremely pleased with this out of the box shooter.

Great gun. Hits sub MOA out the box. Threw a Millet LR scope and an APA Lil Bastard 2 muzzle brake on it and was dining plates at 1000 yards along side guys with WAY more expensive rifles. I'm incredibly satisfied with this rifle.

I have had very good experience with Savage bolt-guns and this Model 10 FCP-SR is no exception. I have had several fine Creedmoors, including a Ruger RPR, and this rifle is very much their equal. Very solid, very accurate weapon right out of the box. After a few dozen break-in rounds, the rifle is definitely sub-MOA with my hand-loads, producing a .36" 3-shot group at 100 yards, and holds sub-MOA at 200.. The magazine can be a bit tricky to seat consistently, but I am getting used to it. Otherwise, this is a superb platform in 6.5 Creedmoor, and I am looking forward to testing it's limits farther down range. And, as usual, Bud's delivers the goods other dealers can't. Excellent service and great value!!

Haven't owned a Savage forever, after all the reviews about great accuracy I purchased this rifle in 6.5 creedmore, looks great, mounted a Leupold VX5 HD Windplex with Seekin rings, shooting Hornady 143gr eld-x, shoots good 1MOA at 100 yds. Only complaint is bolt and action kind of sloppy, feels cheap. Probably won't buy another Savage but I'll be keeping this one.

Savage Model10 FCP-SR 6.5 Creedmoor 1st: Very Satisfied with my Bud's Purchase and with Bud's handling of the Transaction. The rifle appears to be exactly as described by Bud's. Stock is good, AccuTrigger is good. I would recommend this item and would purchase again. Shot a 5 shot 1.5" group at 100y from BiPod with new rifle after 1st 10 rounds as Scope Zero/ Fouling shots

As usual Savage did it again. This is my third Savage bolt action rifle and not at all my last. This model comes with everything necessary to "make it your own", ie. scope rail. threaded muzzle, detachable magazine (10 rnd ). I have barely broken mine in but I can confidently say it is another tack driver. I am very excited about trying different loads. So far all I've tried are 100 gr. Sierras' and 129 and 140 gr. Hornadys'. My only concern is that inserting the magazine is a bit tricky. I'm told other shooters have an issue with that as well. Oh well, something to work on.

Great rifle. Fit and finish are typical savage (not show quality but serviceable). This thing can shoot! I was capable of 3/4 moa 6 shot groups with hornaday 140 grain edl factory ammo. The accustock isn't too bad. I'm going to run it for now after seeing how well it shoots. This would serve well for 1000k shoots.
