I had wanted a Lever Action Model 94 since I was young and watching westerns on television. It was finally time, and I found the best price and service on Buds Gun Shop! Like the Desert Eagle 50 in Stainless that has caught my eye. I do not hunt so I just use it for target practice on my property and I very much enjoy the Winchester Model 94 Deluxe Carbine in the 30-30 caliber with 7+1 capacity. When I unboxed it I was pleased as it was exactly what I wanted based on memories from my youth. It is a beautiful rifle! I am glad that I opted for the Deluxe finish which features a grade IV/V walnut with unique grain patterning and a carbine butt plate. I enjoy shooting it while I improve my accuracy from a variety of distances.

I bought this rifle for my son as a college graduation present. The rifle is absolutely beautiful. Spectacular black walnut stock and forened, deep bluing and the fit & finish is virtually perfect. Before I gave it to my son I spent a day wringing it out on the range (I wasn't going to give him a rifle that wasn't a shooter). The rifle did not disappoint, I put several boxes of different 30-30 through it and they all cycled perfectly. The rifle is deadly accurate. I was hesitant to buy a Japanese built (by Miroku) Winchester, but this is a first class rifle. I have since bought 3 other Miroku Winchesters (a 66 Yellow Boy in 38spl, a 73 in 45 colt and a 92 in 44 mag), and they are all superb firearms. Between the 4 rifles, I've probably put close to a 1000 rounds through them without a hiccup. All are beautiful, accurate and reliable. If you're on the fence about buying one, just do it, you won't be sorry.

Winchester has always been a favorite of mine. This model 94 deluxe carbine is no different. It looks great and shoots even better. I would strongly recommend this gun to anyone looking for the best of the best.

Its really simple. If you want the best lever action. The most reliable. The most likely to keeps its value..and GO UP. Then a Winchester 94 is it. I got the delux - cause I love love beautiful wood stocks. This I will leave to my children and grand children along with many other GEMS.
