Cool clone tough pistol

Great tool, I always wanted one since they came out, so waited and finally gotten one. For the price of Sig I was able to get two, this one and the compact. Many thanks to Bud to make this happen.

I have to admit that I was a bit on the fence about buying this since I didn't know much about them or the quality of their pistols. After reading the reviews here and online I decided to take the jump, and after shooting it yesterday, I'm very glad I did. This is not a pistol for wimps as it's a bit of a beast, but it's well built and functioned flawlessly during my shooting. As mentioned earlier, it is a bit of a challenge to rack the slide back, but not so much to deter you from buying one. While the trigger pull is a bit on the heavy side, I didn't find that it impaired my ability to get a good shot off. It did take me a couple of mags to get the sight picture figured out, but once I did it shot quite well. I'm no marksman, but even I did well with it, so no complaints at all about the accuracy. I may end up getting new sights for it, but I want to shoot it a few more times before making that decision as the ones that are on there are more than adequate for most days at the range. Like some others have commented, I also put new Hogue grips on it that felt better than the stock ones and gave me a better grip on it. Even though I also have a Sig P226, I have absolutely no regrets about buying this pistol. It's very well built, the machining is top notch, and the reliability of it so far has been 100%. It may not be the cheapest pistol out there, but it's worth the money in my opinion.

very good quality pistol for the price, definitely on par with the p226 and possibly even better if you take into consideration the MAC gauntlet test on youtube. the fit and finish is damn near immaculate, from what i can tell the recoil handles very similar to p226, although i havnt shot a p226 very much. i've put maybe 400 rounds or so and havnt had any malfunctions. there are some things i dont like about it, releasing the slide requires you to shift your grip slightly, and cocking the hammer back is difficult with one hand. if you have large hands maybe you will have an easier time. having a 17 round capacity makes the large size of the grip worth it. the gun seems to be decently accurate, although i am by no means a good judge of pistol accuracy. im sure it will shoot wherever you point it.

I have to say I am really impressed with this weapon. If you are on the fence about it it’s definitely worth the purchase. Look at some online YouTube videos of it and you will be impressed.

This is a great pistol. People with small hands may want to look at a compact model. I have big hands and the full size model fills my hand. You can’t go wrong, get you one before the price starts going up when the word get out as to how great these pistols really are!

This is the second Arex Rex Zero 1 that I have bought through Bud's. They are well made, accurate, and reliable. While it is a handful for me, with mid sized hands,the controls are easy to operate. I really like these pistols.

Well made awesome gun, love everything about it

This is my first arex rex zero 1s purchase. The gun is well built. Already put several hundred rounds through it. No failures to feed, no failures to extract no failures period. It ran flawlessly. I selected the FDE version...so its a good looking pistol as well. The only thing I plan on changing is the grips. After several rounds I find myself "regripping" because it slides a bit in my hand. As indicated in specs....trigger is 13+ lbs in DA and I register a 5lb trigger in SA. Sights are the typical 3 dot and work well. And as long as I do my part is shoots at what you aim at... LOL. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS FIREARM.

Love it, it's a really solid gun. It looks like the p226 but this feels way better and functions way better, says a lot since I have both. I would rather but this than the p226 which is way more expensive.

I have almost 400 rounds through this handgun now and I am loving it so far. No hiccups at all, bout 100 rounds of aluminum cased ammo, 200 rounds of steel cased, and 50+ rounds of brass and it has just fired everything. My only complaints about this gun so far is the slide release is a bit stiff and the double action trigger pull is HEAVY. I mean REALLY heavy. 13 lbs heavy. Single action trigger pull more than makes up for it though.

I my picked up my pistol this morning after a short three day wait for it to arrive from Bud's. I have had quite a few pistols in my 76 years and never have I been so impressed with the apperance of a firearm at this price point. Even the FFL was impressed, he has been planning on purchasing one himself in fact his business card had a picture of the REX zero 1 printed on it. I took 250 rnds of GECO 9mm to the local range after leaving the FFL and shot at 25 yds. I am not a great pistol shot. but sitting resting my elbows on the table I put all 17 shots in a four inch circle 1" below the aiming point. That was the first magazine. No need to break it in, though it would be nice if it would get better. The rest of the rounds were fired off hand and it looks like it shoots as well as my high end Kimber .45acp. To top it off it comes with a lifetime warranty, which in my case could be pretty short.

Arex zero 1... Feels like a keeper. With only 180 rds so far that was a mix of 115 gr S&b 124 gr lawman and blazer brass everything went perfect. A family member thru marriage and I both were more accurate with this pistol then his stock g17 or my g19 with trijicon HDS and glock comp connector and my carry g43 with trijicon and nickel plated diamond connector. I love that mags are cheap compared to hk cz or sig. Double action is heavy but single is very good. My gauge is just under 5lbs and it's consistent 4.5 lbs on my geissele 4.5 SSAS. Only criticism is that the slide lock needs to pushed hard to fully seat the contact but perfect on last round open. I'm guessing the dual purpose of also being a decoder is prolly the cause. The FDE is almost burnt bronze Ish. I like it alot but don't expect it to look like mil spec or magpul fde. I give it two thumbs up at this point and expect to keep it that way.
