Very nice shotgun for the price.Over 300 shots so far without any issues. It feeds and ejects properly.

Cycles everything from the lightest target load to the heaviest rifled slug. Crisp checkering. I like the durable finish. The stock did not come with the sling attachment point.

Bought my Remington 1100, it was shipped quick, and buds made my experience easy and painless.

The 1100 shoots right on target. I was surprised that it wouldn’t cycle 1 oz target loads right out of the box but cycled heavier target loads. I guess this a common thing and hopefully will break in.. Stock was way too short for me so added an extension availabile on line from Remington. Shot a 22 and 23 out of 25 16 yard trap. Satisfied as I wasn’t sure where to hold right out of the box but overall very happy with purchase and Buds. Would not hesitate to order again.

This gun is an awesome bargain! Any NIB 1100 is a "steal" at under $500. Bought one of these last year from Bud's. LOVE IT! 100% reliable. It is going to be my dedicated "skeet gun". I'm guessing it is NOS (New Old Stock) as I don't believe this particular model has been produced in several years. Doesn't have the fancy scrollwork or the pretty walnut stocks like my older 1100's but it's just fine for its intended purpose. Dull black oxide finish and black synthetic stocks are best on a gun that might get a few bangs here and there anyway. These are almost all gone now, so if you're on the fence about getting one, I wouldn't hesitate. My only regret is that I couldn't have bought one or two more of these when I got this one to "sock away". Recoil is nil. Gas system on these negates the recoil and you can shoot all day long. 100+ rounds in short order isn't a problem. Shooting skeets is relaxing for me, and its hard to miss with this gun! (I use a dedicated screw-in "skeet" choke instead of the factory-supplied "modified" choke, although you can still use the latter, but it is just not as forgiving with "near-misses" as the former)...Can't say enough about this 1100. Love it! I highly recommend it. As usual, Bud's shipped a nice product at a great price!

Two range sessions with various ammo so far and it shoots fine. It comes with one choke and instruction manual. The shipment included drop-ship paperwork from Sports South LLC. Styrofoam in box was party busted where the barrel is removed from the box. There was some brown staining on the styrofoam. No scrollwork on receiver except the model info. There was no info on Remington website about this model. I think it may have been manufactured about 2010 based on serial. There was some surface grime (possibly oxidation -- rags came up rusty-brown) that came off with a lot of wiping (surface felt gritty until after a lot of cleanup). Action spring tube was quite dirty/brown and some oxidation on the hex nut. Polymer trigger group. I did not see any oxidation at all inside the receiver or barrel, just some gunpowder residue. Receiver internal surfaces seem clean and smooth. The synthetic stock does not include a metal bearing plate as the dimension for the plate is built into the synthetic stock. I am swapping in a wood stock to dress up the gun and needed to get the plate (about $6) to avoid cracking the wood stock I added. The stock nut (action spring tube nut) on this gun is the newer style 11/16 hex (screwdriver does not work to remove stock -- a socket is needed). Thinking about cerakote for this as the receiver finish is so-so. But, for a relatively low cost, I have an 1100; and it seems easy to find parts. Happy with the purchase; to me it is a diamond in the rough.

Great shotgun. It has less recoil than the pump action shotguns I have shot. The weight is well balanced. Very pleased with it's performance.
