I only have about 175 rounds through this pistol. So far, like all of my other Taurus G2s, it has been 100% reliable with both hollow point and full metal jacket ammo. I heard that some of the Taurus 9MMs would have recoil spring binding (spring jumps the rod) problems after around 600-800 rounds. So, just in case, I bought two Lakeline LLC stainless-steel, recoil spring assemblies ($30 each) for my two Taurus G2 9MM pistols. This gun is good looking, reliable and pretty accurate. For the money, this is a very good pistol.

First let me say that I bought this gun for myself, my wife, my pop, and my sister. I got it in four different colors just so we wouldn't argue over who's was who's. LOL. All four have performed really well and we have run all kinds of ammo through them. Mostly 115 grain range ammo but it has done great with all sorts of rounds. No FTE or FTF from any of them. This is a fantastic choice for carrying concealed in a pocket (or from what I'm told a purse). Great capacity and pretty accurate right out of the box. No frills from the manufacturer, just two mags and a straight shooter. I usually rent before I buy, but I would suggest this one if you are looking for an inexpensive reliable pocket gun.

Good gun features with a safety lock. Good target sights and balance. Trigger is a little hard to pull but still practice to squeeze it slowly. Liked the two-tone color of the pistol. Small and lighter to handle the gun. Easy reloading the magazines.

I was a little skeptical on purchasing the PT111 Mil 2 9MM. That skepticism quickly vanished after I received the item. The ergonomics are flawless, and the firearm is well built. The one feature that first stood out to me was the feature that shows the firearm is ready to fire, located just above the ejection port, visible by a red dot. The stippling is very aggressive, and makes for a firm, solid, comfortable grip. Bud's service, and shipping was first class all the way. I made a final payment (using the layaway plan) on a Friday in the wee hours of the morning. As explained, it is a typical 3-5 business day shipping process to the FFL dealer. My package arrived at my FFL in practically 1 business day, as I picked it up on Monday afternoon. This will NOT be my last transaction with Bud's. Just recently purchased this pistol to use for another conceal carry gun and am very happy with it so far. I went last Sunday and shot the first 100 rounds through it and everything went flawlessly, not one jam. Now I won’t do this again but I had 100 rounds of Steele cased 9MM ammo left over and that is what I fired through it for the first time. I will be honest, I was expecting it to jam at least a few times but it didn’t jam one time, even when I rapid fired two straight magazines through it. Now it’s a little snappy for a 9MM so be prepared for that, I mean it’s not that bad but it has a little more recoil than my larger Canik TP9SFX, and definitely not bad enough to not be able to rapid fire one handed and stay on target. And for a small gun I really like the way it feels in my hand, and I am a bigger guy with not real large hands but I would say normal to bigger hands. Oh, and I purchased a Techna Clip for this gun and wound up returning it because you have to remove and replace the back slide plate in order to mount the clip and I feel uncomfortable doing that for safety and warranty reasons. I went with a “We The People” conceal carry holster and it fits perfect and I can Clip the holster inside my pants along my waste line with no issues. So anyway, I recommend this gun because of its low cost, Every Taurus I’ve owned throughout the years have proven very dependable and it’s all around a good conceal carry gun if you don’t want to go with the even smaller caliber ones.

Also thanks to the top notch Vedder Lighttuck! For a compact firearm, having 12+1 capacity is awesome. I can hit my targets and haven't needed to adjust the rear sight but it IS adjustable which is uncommon at this price point. I sold my Glock 36 recently and going to 9mm exclusively except for some rifles. I believe Taurus has upped their quality and quality control in the last several years and it shows in the Gen 2. I'll need to get more used to the DO only action, that just takes some range time. The trigger is harder to pull than my Glock but not bad. The gun comes in soaked with oil, another good thing really since it's on an ocean voyage to the U.S. Just clean her up good and Shoot to Thrill!

I purchased this gun for my mother as a Christmas present. and I was very impressed with the accuracy and feel of this gun I was able to do consistant 1” groups at 20-30 feet I will probably be ordering one for myself.

Firm believer in you get what you pay and for the price I was willing to take the chance on this gun even with the bad reviews online. 300 rounds through it and its a nail driver. Would see how you will want to upgrade the slide rail to stainless. But all in all a decent firearm.

this is the best gun purchase I have ever made in my life! I was skeptical about it by the price tag, I was remembering the days of cheap 9mm (like jennings). I have other pistols in varying price ranges and calibers and this one to me has the best feeling grip in my hand, I dont know what it is about the economics of the grip of this gun especially for its size and price its really comfortable. This thing has fired the cheapest ammo I have (questionable gun show reloads, im talking cheap almost the same price as dirt.) and the most expensive ammo I have, it fires anything! I have fired at least 1000 rds in this gun not 1 malfunction! the only things I noticed not a deal breaker: 1. the trigger, not bad at all but not the greatest, definitely not bad enough for me to change it. 2. the rear sight post are a little wider than the front, again not a deal breaker once I got use to it its really accurate! I do want to change the sights some day but since I have gotten use to them it does not affect the guns accuracy. I bought this gun as a "truck gun" its the cheapest gun I currently own, I almost bought a high point instead but for the extra money this gun is worth well well worth it. I is quickly becoming my favorite gun and I plan on buying at least 1 more! definitely well worth the money I could leave it as is and be perfectly happy with this gun, just buy it!!

Great Gun. This is one of the best buys on the market today. Gun i worth every penny. Just need to take slide off and clean out the extra oil. I fired federal and remington umc 115 grain in this gun. and no problems cycling . The remington ammo was straight shooting and the federal was all over the place with flyers. I also noticed the remington ammo feed smother because its bullet is shorter. Gun does take couple times shooting to get use to . I saw this gun on hickock45 and he does not do it justice shooting it. Its a lot better gun than he makes it out to be. My conclusion is you wont get a better gun for the price.

This firearm is one of the best for its price range. Very comfortable polymer grip. Its compact but fits pretty much any size hand. I've had no problems with it, its a all around good firearm.

ran 300 rounds thru of 115 and 124 nato, and mix of hollow point rounds have not had any issues. the trigger is a little different when getting use to the reset makes for faster follow up shots going to the range later today to shoot some more ammo mix for the price it is a very good pistol and would not hesitate to carry it probably use 124 HST or maybe gold dot for self defence ammo
