Fantastic rifle sub moa out of the box I mounted the low end scope it comes with and was pleasantly surprised at how great the scope actually was its still on the rifle no upgrade needed it goes out to 800 with zero issues out of the box with factory ammo

Got this rifle kit for a great price from Buds as usual. Rifle is more than I was expecting. I’m very pleased with the rifle and scope that was included. Sighted it in the day after I received it and it shot some very tight groups at 100 yds. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a great hunting rifle with a very nice scope

I needed another caliber to shoot / load for like I need a hole in my head, but the price on this was too good to pass up so I pulled the trigger in a moment of weakness...... The good: I've NEVER been disappointed with Howa rifles. We currently have 3 at our house and all will shoot into an inch at 100 without much fuss. This rifle was no exception, but I was not 100% satisfied as it arrived. For features, the scope (mil-mil) is great. No, it is NOT a high-end scope, but features like a FFP and up to 16x are nice, and it is quite capable out to probably 500 yds easily. It have no checked the mechanics of the turrets to see how it performs on the box drill but I bought this primarily for a hunting rifle anyway so I was less concerned. The bad: While the Hogue overmold stock does have aluminum pillar bedding, it is NOT the version from Hogue that has a metal chassis. This leaves the fore end rather susceptible to flex when you put any side load on it to level the rifle on the bipod. Speaking of the bipod, it is basically a Chinese knock-off of a Harris S model. It is sturdy and performs well, but if you want to install an accessory like a tension adjusting arm, it has different threat pitches so you won't be able to install one for a Harris. Additionally, I was completely unimpressed with the bottom metal (actualy plastic) and magazines that came with it. I ultimately changed back to actual metal and a fixed internal box magazine because I trust them more. Less than 2 weeks after receiving this rifle, I had ordered a Harris S bipod and a Bell and Carlson stock. Later I added a better scope which also necessitated new rings. This brings me to the level of investment (minus scope) that I would have had getting a Ruger Precision Rifle, and I think that would have bee a better purchase. In fact, I am now seriously considering taking the scope and bipod off of this rifle and selling it to finance a new Ruger.

Start off the price is awesome for this rifle package. Very accurate out the box with factory match ammo 1/2 to 3/4 inch groups at 100. And buds gunshop is excellent fast super shipping and great customer service
