This PPQ M2 has become my favorite handgun, mainly because even with my novice pistol skills, I can still hit targets accurately out to 25 yds. It comes ready for a suppressor with its pre-threaded barrel, and so of course, I took the plunge and wait time with the ATF to apply for one. Ive cycled brass and steel ammo through it, seems to not care what kind of ammo, just keeps rocking, no jams or misfeeds so far.

BEWARE! This weapon will absolutely ruin other striker 9s for you. Nothing even comes close. Absolutely perfect out of the box. 5/5 easily.

Exceptional pistol. This is the swiss army knife of 9mm pistols...even if it is made in Germany. It has a phenomenal trigger and some of the best ergonomics of any striker fired polymer pistol. It also has a threaded barrel and a special recoil spring for running a suppressor.
And if that weren’t enough, it is also set up for mounting an optic with three included mounting plates to accommodate any of the most popular choices from Trijicon, Holosun, Leupold or Vortex. To make it even more customizable it includes small, medium and large backstraps to customize the grip. And unlike Glocks, the standards sight on this pistol is a very servicable fiber optic front sight with an adustable rear blacked out blade. Some will complain about the front sight being removed when you run an optic but thats the whole point of an optic, isn’t it? Not to have to use iron sights! Besides this is a pistol, not a rifle and so by definition, a close range firearm....and this one is such a natural pointer, I don’t think you’ll miss it. If dead batteries terrify you, mount a holosun with the solar back up feature. And in typical Buds fashion...a trouble free transaction!

I have shot a rental several times before purchasing this through Buds so I knew what I was getting. Paid abut $160 less than my local shops wanted for the same package. Shipped promptly, absolutely no problems whatsoever. Beautiful firearm very comfortable fit/feel for me and shoots very accurately right out of the box. I had narrowed my search down from 6 different manufacturers to the Glock 19 Gen5 MOS and the Walter PPQ M2 Q4 TAC and this Walter was the right choice for me without a doubt. Magazine release on this Walter was a natural fit whereas the Glock 19 not so much and I don’t like the uncomfortable feeling I have when changing a mag isn’t easy peasy. Not sure if or when I might get an optical but with my aging eyes I wanted that choice. May not ever get a suppressor either but hey I have that option now too. With the price from Buds I was able to buy the firearm I feel was better quality and better feel for me at just about the same price my local shops wanted for the Glock 19. Not knocking the Glock, it too is a fine firearm but this Walter had a much nicer fit/feel to it for me. Would highly recommend. Very satisfied customer.

New handgun owner and first purchased 9 mm. I couldn't be more pleased. Very easy to use, excellent handling. I have owned it now for several months and have had no misfeeds or problems with any components. The mulitple grips ensured a comfortable fit to my hand. It is probably far more accurate than I need for personal defense. I haven't even changed the sights. If I had one complaint, the cap for the threaded barrel sometimes works loose. I purchased a Jarvis barrel so I have a non theaded option. Personally, I think the gun looks better with the threaded barrel. Otherwise, highly recommend.

A very pleasant pistol to shoot. Accurate with a near perfect trigger. The short reset on the trigger may lead to a few inadvertent "double taps" until you adjust your grip and how you rest your trigger finger between shots.

Fast processing and 2nd day shipping. Not much needed to say for Walther. German engineering quality speaks for itself.

All I can say, is "WOW!" I bought the PPQ Q4 because I wanted a pistol, an advanced pistol, to take with me to comps or plinking around with friends. I got all this and more! The light weight, precision, and smooth trigger are all complimented by the ergonomics that make it feel like a part of your hand. I am browsing optics, which are easily mounted on the rail with all tools and adapters included, as well as waiting on my tax stamp for a can. I am in awe of what this firearm already is, and excited to see what it will be!

I purchased the Walther PPQ M2 a few weeks ago from Buds. The service to my FFL was excellent. I am very pleased with the quality of the walther. I have a couple of S&W m&p's plus an XD. I have only test fired the Walther but I like the fit better than the others. I have mounted a Leupold Delta pro red dot on it and it fits perfectly. I am a bit disappointed that I can't find any iron sights that can co-witness. I hope Walther comes up with some soon. I recommend this PPQ M2 to anyone looking for a quality 9mm pistol.

I ended up returning the PPQ Q4 TAC via the Walther 30 day guarantee. Although PPQs I had rented and tried in stores had terrific triggers worthy of all the hype, the gun I received via on-line purchase had a gritty trigger that was not smooth and had a wall that affected trigger pull. I shot several hundred rounds at the range, hoping it would smooth out, but no luck. Not a bad gun, but just not what I was expecting.
I intend to buy a PPQ in the store where I can ensure I get the trigger I want. Not blaming anyone. On-line purchases have limitations, which I was willing to risk because of the Walther promotion. Btw, Walther customer service is outstanding!

Actually, I sold a PPQ-Q5 as an offset to purchasing this Walther PPQ M2 Q4. What components attracted me to this gun? First, I previously owned a PPQ M2 in.40 caliber. It was a splendid gun, but I wanted 9mm. Subsequently, I purchased a Walther PPQ Q5 and loved it. However, it spent much time in the box, so I decided on an alternative. First, Walther has an outstanding reputation. The PPQ M2 is known to have an excellent trigger right out of the box. The Walther fits my hand perfectly. And, two very distinct features attracted me to the Tactical Q4. First, an extended threaded barrel and the ability to readily mount an MOA on an adapter plate. I already have installed a Venom Vortex and have shot a couple of hundred rounds.
PERFECT!

Accurate and has an amazing trigger. Usually I don't find polymer guns attractive, but this one is beautiful in a lethal, efficient way. Super comfy/ergonomic on the hands. Just a downright worthwhile gun, fills the "tactical pistol" niche perfectly. No failures so far. I love this thing!

Just what I expected from Walther, 5-stars. Great bright fiber optic front sight. Raised rear sight to co-witness to optic. Would have preferred the 5 inch barrel, but the PPQ Tac comes 4.6 inch, minor difference but I like the longer sight picture on the longer slide PPQ for accuracy. Sights on 5 inch barrel long slide are 7 1/4 inches apart. Sights on Tac are 6 1/4 inches apart. Also, with any suppressor ready barrel, you need to Lock-Tight the protection threaded collar or it will back-off completely. A set screw would be a big improvement.

Received it on Monday but too busy until last night and bring it tothe range for test. Accuracy is impressive, but misfire 3 times in 1 mag? Use winchester and magtech ammo and this never happened before with other guns

Kinda disappointed in its reliability. It misfired three times in the first twenty rounds I put through it. Was shooting Winchester factory ammo. Very accurate when it did fire.

The Walther PPQ Tatical is by far one of my favorite guns I own as of now. I have shot an array of handguns and own multiple different makers from FN FNX 45 to Taurus G2 9mm. Having a wide hand but shorter fingers the gun feels and fits my hand extremely well. Its well balanced and I feel very accurate right out the box. The negatives are the sights arent raised so shooting a suppressor without a red dot is a little more difficult but overall that is the only negative thing I have to say. The break down to clean is easy and effortless. You get a different spring for shooting a suppressor, different hand guard sizes, tools to break down the gun, three magazine clips, and a couple other things in a hard case. This is a great price for this gun.

First off, Buds shipped this to my dealer super fast! The Walther PPQ Q4 Tac is a great pistol. I put on a type 2 6.5 MOA Trijicon RMR on it and it now shoots tacks! This is also a great pistol for CCW due to its compact size. Very satisfied!

I was very impressed with my new PPQ M2 TAC 4 at first removing from the nice case in comes in it seemed smaller than what I expected. Which was fine because I was planning to make this my concealed carry weapon anyway. I ended up changing the medium back strap to the small one and that fit my hand perfect. The gun ate up with no problems three different brands of cheap ammo. One negative for me though is the front site is red fiber optic and the rear is just black target blade. The rear is in a dove tail groove on one of the interchangeable rmr plates on the slide. No site companies that I could find make aftermarket sights for this gun including suppressor height sights! So you're only way to go when you splurge for a can is to spend the bucks for a red dot ! I know I know that's why I bought this model gun you say ! But help me explain to my wife that I need $500 for the Trijicon RMR Type2 !!
