Best 22LR semi auto I have ever fired. Super accurate and will eat any kind of ammo I've put through it. Even when using the magazines topped off to the full 25 rounds.

Buds did a great job getting me my rifle. The Sig 522 is a joy. I have around 1k rnds through it now with no problems. I've used both Sig and Black Dog mags and the 50 rnd drum with no problems. I really wanted iron sights but after getting the rifle and putting a red dot on it I'm very happy.

Love it. Shoot all day for $20, accurate, cycles any old 22 without a hitch, and only $350. So what if the stock is green instead of black, it’s worth every penny.

This is the best .22 I have ever owned. My 7 year old son has completely taken it away from me and shoots it every time we go to the range. It will fire any brand of ammo, even Remington golden bullets, and has yet to jam. I have probably 3000 rounds through it now without cleaning it and still no problems.

A really fun gun. Not as accurate as i had hoped. But acceptable for a plinker. Buds service however was 5-star as usual.

Well I have only taken this gun out shooting twice now but both times I had tons of fun. I have shot about 350 American Eagle's and about 50 CCI's and both fired without incident. No problems whatsoever. I find this gun to be incredibly fun to shoot. The stock was a little tough to get it to lock into place when you fold it but after I sanded a little bit off the nub, it clicks in pretty easily and doesn't come out until you pull it off. Of course the only downside was the lack of sites but I'm planning on getting a truglo or maybe some iron sights at least and then it should be fine. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and cheap to shoot plinker. Very nice quality firearm. More than worth the money (375 at the time).

Buds did a fantastic job keeping me up-to-date on the processing and shipping of my order. The weapon arrived unscathed and fully intact with all the tags indicating it was indeed factory new. Included: Stock extender with screws and tool, booklet, 1 Sig-labeled Black Dog Machine magazine (25 rd), and hand-guard rails (!). After a good wipe down with solvent, a good lube, and some customizing (Red-dot, vertical grip, Hogue grip), I tested this gun today. It fed properly at first (~20 rds), but I had failures to load properly early on as the hollow points I was using (CCI Mini-Mags) were getting caught on the loading ramp directly adjacent to the magazine. After a field strip and some cleaning, I felt that the weapon started loading properly. Maybe it needed to smooth out a bit. I put 200 rounds through it (mix of Federal bulk and CCI Mini-Mag) without a hitch. The rifle is damn smooth once the kinks are worked out, that is if there are any at first use. The machining is top notch despite the hiccup I ran into with mine. The stock leaves something to be desired, but can be replaced using an adapter to fit AR-stocks. I recommend this weapon for those that want to shoot tight groups on a budget with a well-made piece of engineering.

I wanted a semi auto 22 rifle and this won seemed to have a high number of favorable reviews. My other choice would have a ruger 10/22 which I have had favorable experience with. Also considered one of the various 22 caliber AR clones as well. Price was a factor so I went with this one. Very satisfied with this rifle. No problems with any ammo I tried. It is more accurate than I am and I added a scope to improve the later. Only problem here was I had to use taller scope rings than I originally estimated since th front hand gauge contacted the 6-24x50 bushnell scope I used. Shoots great! I started getting consistent FTF every 7th shot or so after running 2500 rounds through it. I had never cleaned the rifle since new at that point and I could see a TON of powder residue in it all over the place. I had shot a lot of Remington bulk pack through it which Igeneral I have found to be some of the dirtiest ammo around. So at that point I packed it up and went home and cleaned my rifle. Flawless performance returned after that. My only real complaint is with the stock on this rifle which I have not found happiness with. My arms are long and I prefer the stock in the extended position. Configured that way, the stock is not solid and can move around if you shift your position. As it stands now this will be the only mod I am looking to make. Unlike the AR clones there are few 3rd part items to address this. With probably get the aluminum adapter so I can mount an M4 stock on this. That should open up the options.

This is a great gun. 500 rounds of federal bulk with zero problems. Cheap to shoot, easy to break down and clean, and looks great. My first order from Buds and it won't be my last. Great price and fast shipping. Thank's Buds.

Got mine on 3-13-2011 and all i can say is Awesome, this gun is even better looking in person than what the picture gives. Havent had a chance to really shoot it yet but i ran two clips of cheep remington bulk ammo as fast as i could with no jams no problems what so ever, if there was a down side to the gun it would be loading the clip the most i could get in it was 26 but i think once the spring gets broke in ill be able to get the 30 in there. I know it seems like a lot for a 22 but once you get your hands on this you will be amazed. 5 stars and a bag of chips.

Buds: 5 Stars - Great price, quick shipment, easiest gun transaction to date! Gun: 5 Stars - Got to the range yesterday to sight in the aimpoint clone red dot on the 522. Let me say that this rifle did not disappoint!! Once the red dot was dialed in, this little rifle is an accurate and extremely reliable plinker. 100 rounds of CCI mini mags followed up with 100 round of Federal bulk pack cycled flawlessly through the gun. The 522 trigger is spot on and the magazine was top notch as well. I am extremely happy with the purchase of the 522, and am looking forward to getting back to the range with my sons. This will definitely not be my last gun purchase from Buds!!

First things first, this is an amazing gun. Shipping took a bit longer than expected (my fault for ordering over a holiday weekend) but after I I picked it up from my FFL dealer and took it to the range, I instantly fell in love. It came with a large black case, not the typical blue case but it was big enough for the gun, three mags, the scope, as well as my pistol and its accessories. I attached a Primary Arms M3 red-dot sight and ordered two additional BDM 27 round magazines. Once I got the sight dialed, the gun was just eating up CCI Mini-Mags, Winchester Bulk, and Blazer without any problems. After 500 rounds not a single jam, FTF, FTE or hang up. I was very impressed because other ‘tactical’ .22’s like the M&P 15-22 are very picky with ammo but I have not encountered any problems as of yet with the 522. The gun is also a bit heavier than the M&P 15-22 which I happen to like because it has a more realistic feel. My only complaint is that the bolt doesn’t stay open when I eject the magazine after the last round and that the magazines are a little wobbly once they are inserted. As such, I don’t feel entirely comfortable resting my forearm along the magazine when shooting from prone position but I’m sure I’ll get over it. However, these complaints are very minor and the reliability, cost and overall fun factor of the gun completely and unequivocally make up for these rather trivial complaints. I recommend this gun for anyone who wants a very fun and reliable gun to shoot and who doesn’t want to burn a hole in their wallet on ammo (if one were to buy a legitimate 5.56). I recommend this gun over any ‘tactical’ .22 on the market, period, this gun scores off the charts in fun, reliability, cost, and cool.

Love this gun. $35 red dot was putting them onto target with impressive precision, and it shot every type of 22lr I had with me without fail. The bolt was slow to go forward by the end of 550 rounds, but it always worked, and cleaning took care of that immediately. The only one downside: the magazines. I've been spoiled by the GSG and MP AR22 with a thumb follower on the side to help with loading; this mag does not have such a feature. The corners on the feed lips are also unnecessarily/unreasonably sharp, so the whole deal makes for dirty, cut, raw, and bruised fingers after a range trip. The whole point of a 22 is to blast through the rounds, and loading these mags detracted from that fun. I have since filed the edges down, but I have not tested the modification. Would be a 5 star gun if not for the magazine. Bud's service, value, shipping, and quality are absolutely top notch.

I finally got a chance to go shoot my 522 and literally cannot think of a single thing I would change. I put a Simmons 3x-9x scope ($50 shipped) on it and sighted it in at 50 yards. If you take your time you can easily shoot one ragged hole in the target at that distance. My friend and I were also shooting pretty decent groupings at 100 yards as well without adjusting the scope and just compensating for the height. I have close to 1,000 cheap bulk rounds through thus far with out a single jam or stove pipe, though we did have about 3 bullets that didn't go bang, but they racked out just fine and we went on shooting. The only thing I recommend is going ahead and ordering a BDM 50 round drum and or a couple extra 25 round mags (that is unless you live in one of those steal your rights states that thinks banning large magizines (come on people it is a .22 for God's sake) are for the terrorists, which in that case I feel for you guys, 10 rds would be put down range way too quickly). But if you do live in one of those states just get half a dozen or so and go plink your little hearts out (or what ever you plan to use it for). I will tell you to be prepared to let the other shooing range members get some time on it, so just sit back and see the smiles on their faces. I think another 2 or so will be ordered after some of the other guys put a few mags through. Thanks again Bud's, you have sold me a great gun at an even better price. Happy shooting to all!

I have ben looking at getting my first gun for over a year now and after plenty of research and readng reviews i decided on the sig522 and i couldent be happier. This gun is just amazing and i would recomend everyone own one of thies. I have a couple buddys who own other 22s and they cant put my sig down. The only other 22 i like this much is the s&w ar modle with all the goodies. Long live sig.

I love the fact that Buds has a list of your local FFL dealers info on file so you don't have to contact anyone for them to send it to Buds. This makes shipping super fast, and makes the entire process of buying a gun online that much easier. A couple local dealers I talked to seemed more interested in trying to talk you out of it and buy from their store. One tried to sell me this very rifle for $499, plus tax. I politely said no thanks and ordered it from Buds, my first online gun purchase, surely not the last.

I happened to walk into a local gun shop here in Tennessee just wasting some time and saw this little gem hanging on the wall. After handling it for a few minutes I knew I had to have it. The shop I was in was asking $469 for it, which in my opinion was a pretty reasonable for the area (after a bit of checking around). So back to my house I went to get the cash. While there I decided to hop on the computer just to check and read some reviews before I bit the bullet (no pun intended..ok well a little). I'm generally not one to order something off the internet due to the fact that I HATE the wait and it is all I think about until it arrives. Well just to make sure I wasn't missing any crazy deals I clicked the "Shopping" button on Google and up popped this website. I saw $375 free shipping plus no tax, now for that kind of deal I am willing to wait a few days for. Considering I can even throw in some optics and still be under budget (not to mention I like the green better just for the fact that it is different). I placed the order on the spot (Saturday night). I chose a Simmons 3-9x Magnum scope for now (will be getting a red dot too in the very near future). I loved the fact that they had a list of ffl dealers to ship to, as it made it very easy for me since this is my first online gun order. It is now Friday 9:30 a.m. and I pick the gun up tonight at 7:00 once I get off work, all I can say is I have been waiting for this day and cannot wait to get my hands on it. To make it even better my scope is also coming in today (on truck for delivery to be shipped to my work). I will most certainly be doing business with Buds again, as will the many people I tell about them. Happy shooting to all, and I will try to write a review on the setup once I get some range time in.

Absolutely Amazing!!! What else can I say? The SIG 522 is the best .22 on the market for the price. I have a Ruger 10/22 and was getting bored with it, now I have the SIG 522 and couldn't be happier. At first I wasn't sure about the Green Synthetic stock, but it really adds a lot of character to the rifle. Right off the bat I put it through my cheap round test. I fired the cheapest rounds I could find (Wal-Mart Federal) and it ate them up without any problems or hiccups. Not one miss fire, jam, or stovepipe. Then I fed it some CCI Mini-Mags, and it really liked those. Much more accurate with the Mini-Mags. This was was my first purchase with Buds, but not my last. They were first class all the way!

This gun was far better than expected. Was flawless at the range and once the red dot was dialed in I was knocking the center of the target out at 50 yards with Winchester bulk ammo. This one was worth every penny if you are trying to decide on a tactical .22 I highly recommend the Sig.

Unbelievable 22!!! Very accurate, extremely reliable, love it, SO MUCH FUN!!! I shot 1,250 rounds of dirty Winchester 555 bulk packs without cleaning or lube whatsoever besides the initial application. 0 failures of any sort. Started to get failure to feeds after the 1,250 rounds but only at a rate of 1 out of 100. Noticed the feed ramp was SOOOO gritty from the 22 debris and wiped off ONLY the feed ramp. She Started running 100% again. At around 1,800 rounds i decided it needed a cleaning and easily cleaned it....Who knows how far it would have gone but 1,250 failure free rounds is great in a semi 22!!! The rifle has a rigid aluminum upper which aids in the reliability compared to the flexible plastic uppers of other 22's. Accuracy is great!!! I couldn't expect any better. With a non- magnified red dot and the front rested it will shoot 1 hole 25shot group @25yards about 1" in diameter and at 100 i can easily place all 25 shots on a paper plate. With a magnified optic i bet it would shoot 2-3" groups (this is using cheap bulk Winchester by the way). I've shot a total of about 150 rounds of other various types of ammo and they all ran perfectly. Lastly, BUY THE GUN!!! it comes with a blue plastic sig latch case and 3 attachable rail panels and more.......At this price it a no brainer...

I ordered this .22 for my son. This is a quality .22, very accurate, no malfunctions and I wouldn't expect less from Sig Sauer. It was so much fun I had to buy another one for me. Buds is great to deal with making it very easy to purchase online and keeping you up to date through the entire process.

Buds (5): Awesome price, very good about sending emails as payment and rifle moved along the process. Buds FFL finder allowed me to locate an FFL in my neighborhood that was cheap, available, and accomadating (picked it up on Christmas Eve, Ho-ho-ho!). Gun (5): Came in blue Sig hard plastic case, with cable lock, 3 optional hand grip Picatinny rail strips, 1 extra butt pad, 1 magazine. No sights (as described), but threw a Tasco Red Dot Shot on and shot about 400 rounds last night at the NRA HQ range -- no problems, handled Fiochi, Federal, and Remington brands well. My 2 sons and 2 nephews shot way faster than I could reload the 3 magazines I had on hand. This rifle is just plain fun (and cheap) to shoot.
