I purchased this shotgun from Buds last month and took delivery earlier this month. I have no complaint about Buds, but I am dissatisfied with Browning and this shotgun and if I could do it over again I would buy the Beretta Silver Pigeon. The Browning shotgun I purchased is well made, but for the $2000 it costs you would at least think browning could at least put something soft on the shoulder end of the stock instead of a $2 piece of plastic. Don't be confused by the stock photo used to market the gun, you will get an expensive shotgun with a plastic buttplate. I am also dissatisfied with the wood used on the forearm. Its not damaged wood, but it has an odd color change at the front end of the forearm unlike anything I have ever seen on a new shotgun before, going from a rich brown color with nice grain to a pale birch like color. I spoke to browning by email and was told "you are free to change the butt pad if you want to" --- how silly, of course I can change the plate to a pad if I want to, I own the gun, but it will cost at least $100 to do it and thats money I shouldn't have to spend on a new gun. As previously stated, if I was going to spend $2000 again on a 20 gauge shotgun, I'd forget the browning and buy a Beretta, you'll get more for your money, more choke tubes, a hard case and a RUBBER butt pad, and Bud's sell Berettas too.
