Ever since I was a little boy, I wanted one these guns. Now that I am able to afford it all I can tell you is I have zero regrets. This is simply an amazing gun. I love it.

Please understand that this not my final review of this beautiful Smith & Wesson Deluxe 686 Plus. This is simply an outstanding revolver, chambered in .357 MAG, with 7 rounds. This is a revolver I have been looking for, and found at Buds. Not only that but the price was right. My local gun stores did not have it; and what they did have, prices were reflective of the hard to find market. However I have not taken it to the range yet. So please stand by for part Two.

The M686 Plus is fantastic, the wood grips are perfectly textured to stay firm in your hand even after your hands begin to perspire. There is a clear external protective coating on the grips which seems to come up unfortunately, so if you plan to carry it as your duty weapon (as I do), you need to expect that. Out of the box, the trigger was very heavy with a distinct catch halfway through, a counter clockwise quarter turn of the strain screw smoothed it out completely. I was very pleased with the sights, and the polished stainless steel finish of the revolver. I would recommend this revolver to anyone looking to purchase a 7 round Smith.

This revolver is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. Pure QUALITY!! Bud's sold it at an excellent price, with great service. Got the gun in 4 days. The gun was beautiful, and the trigger is super smooth. I have no complaints. I feel this is the best 357 magnum out there in today's market. A pure American classic. Haven't shot it yet, but I will be soon. Thanks again Bud's.
