Not a target pistol, but accuracy is acceptable. It kicks like a .38 snub-nose revolver. No slide release or last round slide lock, but you’re not John Wick, are you. 100% reliability and super slim, back pocket gun for sure, may be a problem if you don’t check your pockets before laundering. I own several and have them everywhere, which is why I especially like the color options to keep track of them all. Buy with confidence!

Not to bad for a pocket carry pistol but to small for me for what I need.

Kicks hard but pocket sized protection. No complaints does what it's designed to do.

I bought a Diamondback DB9 Gen 4 and I've been wanting to shoot it. It's the smallest 9 mm I've ever seen...11 oz. It's the same size as the ruger LCPII.
I could have paid less from another seller ($217). I shot 100 rounds of 147 grain blue bullets, 50 rounds 124 grain red bullets, 50 rounds Tula, and 50 of normal 115 grain brass bullets and NOT ONE single hickup. It's so tiny I figured it would be snappy but it's not. The trigger is 5 lbs with an awesome reset. It will definitely be my carry gun. It fits perfectly in ruger LCPII holster. I just purchased another one today for $217!

This is a fun little pocket protection pistol does kick quite a bit for how light it is but it is a very nice concealed carry handgun

I like the idea of this small carry conceal but it was difficult to gain any accuracy. The lack of space makes it difficult to get a firm grip. No failure to eject or fire. Overall I like this little gun just couldn't get close to what I felt comfortable with for a carry conceal.

Couldn't be more pleased with the firearm itself and the layaway program buds offers!! Keep it up and as far as these other reviews I have 350 rounds without one hiccup.

Within the first 50 round the slide rails broke and the slide came off when discharging the firearm. Have yet to send back to Diamondback. But I would NEVER trust this gun with my life. But Buds has been great, as always.

Love this gun. Great smooth action. Good size for concealment . Same size as Ruger LCP or Taurus Spectrum.

You get what you paid.... it's a nice gun.. but in my case it jams a lot, since day one at the range i notice that it was 1 out of 20 shots. now it got so bad that it jams every single magazine, it's not a gun that i will trust for my safety.. Now i'm dealing with DIamondback emails back and forward. to see if they can do something... if someone is planning to a DB9 i will said save a couple more bucks and get a Glock 43 or 42..

Well, I knew it was not a gun that would be enjoyable to shoot but that is an understatement. It stings, plain as that. The size and light weight absorb nothing, your hand absorbs it all. For me it is not an easy gun to shoot either but it serves one purpose and I suppose for a last ditch 6/7 rounds it’s ok. Fed as ejected fine, no issues

Intrigued by the guns small size(for a 9mm) and low price point I bought it a while back. Constant FTF`s FTE`s and other hiccups caused me to send it back to Manufact. for warranty service. Initially couldn`t ever reach a LIVE customer rep at DB Firarms, but BUDS help me them to call me back. Gun returned w/ extra mag(Now have 4) and it seemed ok for next to mags shot. Then, back to the malfunctions! Considering the gun has no manual safety(I`m used to flicking it off w/ my thumb as I draw), and a relatively light trigger pull, I probably wouldn`t feel comfortable carrying this gun. When my girlfriend(who asked me to bring this gun) showed up at the Range w/ elec. Guitar, she said "Look you got the DB 9mm, I got the guitar, lets have a JAM session--Ha Ha ha!" That was the last straw before getting rid of this at the FFL dealer for dimes on the dollar! BUDS facilitated everything smoothly and they`re still good to do business with. I guess, in the end I shoulda known by gun`s slow price, you generally get what you pay for. Here I think I got less. Thank you anyway BUDS, still my Go-to Company for my gun purchases.

I have owned this little pistol for about a year now, and thus far I like it quite a bit. It’s small pocket footprint and 9mm power level was its selling point to me, and in that regard it most definitely doesn’t disappoint. It light, well made, and not bad to look at either. It does have a few minor issues though. These little guys HATE milsurp ammo. The hard primers are usually too much for them and you’ll get a lot of light primer strikes if you don’t use more premium ammunition. Also, I did a little bit of file work on mine around the feed ramp, as the sharp edge that comes stock on these pistols will occasionally hang on a JHP load. Took literally 10 minutes of light filing to eliminate that problem. So, despite being a little bit of an ammo queen, these are wonderful little pistols. For everyday carry, their small size and price point really are hard to beat. I’d recommend them.

just received my DB-9 from Bud's great service as always. read a lot of bad reviews about this firearm, but took a chance as i have had a DB-380 for several years and have been very happy with it after some early jamming which turned out to be lack of break in. shoots great now. just put 100 rd;s of 125 gr lead and 115 gr fmj not a single issue. great gun for the money!

Great little gun for concealed carry. Have show about 100 rounds so far and have been impressed with the accuracy and smooth operation of the Diamondback DB9. It fits nicely into an inside coat pocket. The price was very reasonable and shipping was quick as it arrived in 4 business days. I would recommend this product for the casual shooter or for personal protection. Buds was excellent to deal with and I will be shopping with them again and again.

Received the pistol. Cleaned and lubed it. Took it to the range. Fired 50 rounds of Remington green box 115 grain fmj and 20 rounds of 150 grain Federal HST for micro pistols. I had no problems. Due to the small size and light weight of the pistol recoil is snappy. I liked this pistol.

This is a great pocket pistol. always great dealing with Buds. as team Buds member i was able to put this gun in layaway when i saw the price drop to $189! now to the gun. at 11ozs this gun is ideal for summer ccw. the biggest problem you will have is forgetting you have it on you. I have not had any ftf or fte. i tried to get it to misfire by limp wrist, could not. one tip keep the breach locked open with something for a week or so to weaken the spring or it will misfire until it brakes in. this is not a range gun. it is a shoot sparingly and carry, that's it. it will got bang when you need it. thanks Buds! always a pleasure dealing with you!

This 9mm is very sleek and light weight. The texture of the grip makes it very easy to handle. My wife doesn't care that much for gun, but she likes this one! I would recommend this one to anyone, even the first time buyers!! Sincerely, Tommy

Having read several reviews on the DB9, some good and some bad, I was intrigued by the small size and how lightweight the pistol is, so I purchased one. Have over 200 rounds through it now. The first 50 rounds I had 3 or 4 FTE's, the next 50 rounds had one FTE. The next 100 rounds had zero FTE's. I had cleaned the pistol thoroughly prior to taking to the range, and also polished the ramp with 000 steel wool. The trigger is much better than the Kel-Tec PF9, and is very comparable to the pricier Ruger LC9s which is a really good firearm in my opinion. I am pleasantly surprised by the DB9's performance. I've used both PMC Bronze and Blazer Brass ammo with no noticeable difference in performance, no problems with either since the pistol appears to be broken in after the first 100 rounds. My plans are to put another 200 rounds through it to ensure it continues to perform as it has the last 100 rounds. And as always, the purchase process was smooth and seamless. I've purchased probably 20 firearms from Buds and have always been pleased with the service I've received.

Love it, love it, love it! This little gun shoots fantastic. Dead on right out of the box - 7 in the 10 or X ring at 30 feet rapid fire on a half size torso target - again, and again, and again. Hold it firm, slap that front sight right on the bullseye and start blasting. I ran absolute garbage ammo through it and never once a FTF or any functional flaw whatsoever. I wouldn't recommend limp wristing it though. I bet that would cause trouble. It is a load of fun to shoot, but after too many rounds the gription on the front of the trigger guard and the backstrap will start to chafe a tad. It took three boxes of ammo for me to get there, but then again I do have baby soft skin. If you have built in leather you should be fine. Grab one up and tear it up. At around $200 you can't go wrong here.
