I really hate to post this review. After buying and shooting the standard Ruger .243 Winchester I decided I wanted one a little prettier. I bought the camouflage version from Bud's, and they handled the order in their usually fast and professional way. The gun however was a huge disappointment. It dhoots great, and was sub moa at 100 yards. Unfortunately, the magazine well was over molded and and the magazine was extremely difficult getting in and out of the rifle. I called Ruger, and they sent me a replacement well. No big problem getting the new one swapped out and now the mag works great. The point is, I shouldn't of had to do that. Ruger QC inspection must not be very good if they dont rest and catch this basic rifle function.

I was having a hard time finding this gun locally. when I did find it the price was high. Buds made it easy to get the gun I wanted at an unbelievable price. I thought this rifle was going to use the common ar 10 mags, I was a little disappointed that it uses aics mags. also the way that mag release works is a little bit challenging. overall good package though.

very positive--Buds was quick especially with whats going on these days--Ruger has a real winner with this rifle--easily shoots half-inch groups with little load work-up..Happy Camper.
