Items Like The Remington Model 700 Sendero SF II .264 Winchester Magnum Bolt Action Rifle

Received rifle in good condition. Haven't shot it yet. Loaded some 120 matchkings. The rifle has a very short throat. Had to seat bullets very deeply to get cartridge to fit in the chamber and close the bolt. It also had one cosmetic defect from the factory that kinda bothers me. Part of the gnurling on the bolt handle looks like it was buffed clean off in the polishing process. And I use the word "polishing" loosely in this case. Could have been done better. But all that being said it still is a very nice looking rifle and has a quality feel to it. Just hoping it shoots.

I am a little late in submitting this review. I have had this rifle for several years. It is VERY accurate. I did put an aftermarket trigger on it. I have since bought other Senderos. You get what you pay for, a very good rifle that may need some personal adjustments. This rifle will hit a dime at 200 yards with the first cold shot. As usual Bud's Guns was great to buy from.

I'm new to the Remington 700 line of rifles, my first one is the Sendero 2. Terrible trigger! Right out of the gate. I didn't expect a crisp trigger, but seriously!?! This trigger is, "adjustable." From terrible to slightly lighter terrible? Felt like my daughter dumped her sandbox in there. For a rifle of this price, I certainly expected better. Before firing this rifle, I will install an aftermarket trigger as well as detachable magazine bottom metal. Otherwise, the bolt seems like it was machined with 40 grit sandpaper, the stock is okay, and this is Remington's most accurate factory rifle. Buy this if you want to immediately upgrade with aftermarket parts and , money paid to a reputable gunsmith. Good luck!!
