Great revolver to play around with on the days you want to go to the range feeling like Doc Holliday or Bill Hickock!!! LOL!!! .38s are more fun than .357s but neither one is a problem- recoil-wise!!

This gun's a lot of fun and always gets some comments at the range. Keep in mind that this model does not have a transfer bar so you can not dry fire on an empty chamber.

oh my goodness, this is such a beautiful pistol I can’t believe I have it. The fit and finish is remarkable I couldn’t be happier. The tightness is amazing and the timing is perfect. If you are looking for a real cowboy gun you can’t get any better than this one. As always it was a great experience buying from Bud’s the only reason I’m giving 5 stars to the gun and Bud’s is because I can’t give them a 10.

These Cimarron Pistolero's are priced incredibly fairly for the quality. Timeing was perfect out of the box and head space was within tolerance. Buds shipped quickly, and the Pistolero's have several hundred rounds through them and they run great. I bought these to run and I'll keep runnin 'em. Very fun, and easy to pass the love of single action on to a new generation without a large investment. 5 of 5 stars... would shoot here again.

Love the way it shoots no problems with firing at all

Good looking gun, but sloppy execution. Sloppy feel, bad trigger, and bad cylinder lock up/alignment. Accuracy suffers badly because of this. I'll have to put some work into it to make it a shooter.

I always wanted a SAA and I finally have one. The Cimarron Pistolero I chose is stunning and also perfect. It shoots great and I have not regretted making the purchase. As they always do, Buds performed flawlessly.

When I decided to purchase the Cimarron Pistolero I was mad at myself for making another "frivolous" purchase. Why do I need another handgun? I did look at some of the reviews on YouTube but they weren't many. It's not the type of pistol for personal protection. I really wanted a Ruger Vasquero or a western style gun by Taylor & Co, but their prices was much higher than the Cimarron. When I received it and opened the box, I was extremely pleased. This was my first Cimarron product and I always kind of felt somewhat negatively toward Cimarron for some odd reason, maybe it was because it wasn't an actual Colt or Ruger. Pistolero really exceeded my expectations. Color, fit & finish was exceptional. Trigger and hammer was extremely smooth, again far better than expected. For the price I really thought I got a great deal! Shooting and accuracy was a bit high, but I compensated and had not problems. Recoil was surprisingly good. The brass shroud around the trigger and along the handle really made it feel and look like a much more expensive pistol. Very satisfied and highly recommended.

Took this baby to the range for the first time last week. Fired 50 rounds of 38SP through. Flawless and virtually no recoil to speak of! Just plain fun to shoot! Shoots on point of aim more accurately than I thought it would. Can't wait to get some 357 to use!! It's heavier than I thought, but very well balanced, so no issues with it. Grip is very comfortable for me. Cylinder pin took a little practice to get just right, but after a few dry runs, no problems. Looking forward to a beautiful friendship. Bud's did a great job. Had it on my wishlist for a while and they came through quickly and accurately!!! Have used Bud's before and certainly will again!

I have previous experience with single-action revolvers, so there were no unpleasant surprises with the "Pistolero" I received. The one I received is a perfect replica of the original Colt SAA. In fact, it's my opinion that the Cimarron may be of higher quality than the original Colt. Something most people don't know about this design of handgun is this: You CAN carry it safely with all six chambers loaded. Just pull the hammer back to the first click. It cannot fire from that position, even if dropped. That was the original "safety" designed into the SAA-type revolvers.
In general, the example I received is of excellent workmanship. I feel this pistol will serve me well for the rest of my life, and will be going strong for several generations beyond me.

First purchase for buds and it was fast and flawless. Gun arrived in two days at my FFL and was in perfect condition. This gun is awesome, and even Better then expected. Shot a box of 38 through the gun with no issues. Action is smooth and reliable. I would recommend this gun and will be purchasing a Cimarron rifle in the near future.

For an entry level replica I am pleased with this pistol. Have fired 3 separate occasions, about 36 rnds total of .38 sp. No issues. Have not fired .357 rnds. Is a Real Looker and have received compliments on looks. Nice Heft to it. Feels good in hand. I have a 1985 Colt New Frontier .22lr/mag I bought new........in 1985 ( a decent 'replica' by Colt but modern adj sight and cheap grips) So I feel like I have the real thing now. If the right deal came along I believe I would buy another cimarron based on this initial experience.

Got into Cowboy Action Shooting. Ordered a pair of these based on reviews and feedback from others. Took wife and daughter to range and put 100 rnds thru both of them the first weekend we had them. LOVE THEM! Good action and no issues right out of the box. Great guns at a very good price! Plan on getting another pair for daughter.

This gun is beautiful! I was worried that I would have a gun with a slightly too large grip, but once it was in my hands all my concerns disappeared. The action is so smooth that I thought it may not have rotated the cylinder, it had. I took it out immediately to see its accuracy and it was fantastic! Love what I received and have no regrets!
