Glock 26 Review

The Glock 26 Gen 4 is also popular as “Pocket Glock” or “Baby Glock”, and debuted in 1995. The pistol is about six and half inches long, four inches tall, with barrel length of 3.5 inches and weighing 19.8 oz. The Glock 26 is simple and lightweight in a conceal carry holster. With the excellence history of the pistol due to its quality, Glock 26 continued to be popular subcompact semi-automatic pistol for almost 20 years after its debut and it remains popular amongst gun enthusiast this day.



The size of the pistol allows a two-fingered grip but its double-stack magazine still carries 10 rounds of 9mm ammunition. This is not only a smaller version of the original one but this pistol was built through ample redesign of the frame, spring assembly and locking block. Glock 26 is not only featuring three independent safety systems but also Glock line is built with two internal, automatic safety and external integrated trigger safety. Glock 26 internal mechanisms are composed both a drop and a firing pin safety. The safety mechanism works when the trigger is squeezed; the three mechanisms are automatically disengaged one after the other. If the trigger is release, it automatically activates the safety mechanism.



The Glock pistol comes with accessories that are available in the factory that comprises several devices for tactical illumination. These device includes, series of front rail mounted “Glock tactical light” featuring a white tactical light and an optional visible laser sight. Infrared light and laser sight are also available.
