The Kel Tec investigator P-11, is a semi-automatic, locked-breech, DAO (double action only) side arm, designed for the 9X19mm Luger parabellum cartridge. This side arm is compact and light-weight, due to its polymer construction. The slide is milled from steel and contains the firing pin and also the extractor. The trigger connects via a transfer bar to the hammer and operates in double action solely. As there are no external safeties, the transfer bar acts as a deterrent from the gun being accidentally discharge if dropped.



The grip is formed of the ultra-high impact chemical compound resin or polymer.
