Mossberg 930 Overview

The Mossberg 930 is one of the most popular 12-gauge, gas-operated, tube fed, semi-automatic shotguns that is on the market today. Longer barrel models are commonly used by skeet-shooters and hunters,but the most popular is the defense model. This model is complete with a pistol grip, and an 18-inch barrel that has a “door breaching” muzzle break. This type of barrel is where the snout has a sharply crenelated end, with a series of elongated vents in its 1-¾ body. The concept is intended to keep the barrel from exploding when you’re shooting through a door frames hinge with metal breaching loads, or when shooting flush against solid plaster.The forend and stock are made of black polymer, while the trigger guard and receiver are made of anodized aluminum. The barrel and magazine tube are phosphate coated steel.
