The Taurus THc series features hammer-fired, SA/DA with a manual safety and an ergonomic, textured polymer grip/frame with an integrated accessory rail. The matte black carbon steel slide has front and rear drift adjustable Novak sights. The THc pistol has a 3.54" slide for a 6.85" OAL. This Taurus TH40c model has a black frame finish and includes one 11-round and one 15-round magazine.

Purchased the TH40C on a Monday and picked it up on Wednesday. I took the Th40C out to the gun range over the weekend and I was very pleased on how it fired. I really like the DA/SA feature and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good budget 40 cal.

This weapon has some great features and one really bad flaw. The finish is really good and the grooves on the slide make it easy to rack a round. I also like the rail, safety and decocking feature on the gun. Now for the bad, the mag release is the worst one I have ever had to TRY and use. It takes someone with the strength of the Hulk to press that button. I took the weapon into my local gunsmith and he said there is nothing he can do to fix it. He told me it is just bad engineering. I own several Taurus pistols and love them all but this one let me down, right out of the box!
