This is my favorite 1911 pistol. I purchased for hunting. The red dot brings a whole new level of accuracy.Living in Florida can't wait to try on pigs. This pistol is very good looking. The grips give you very good purchased to accurately hit targets to 50 yards (the farthest I have shot the pistol). I highly recommend this pistol as a woods carry gun,

The Trijicon optic would not adjust full elevation needed for 25 yards, not even close! The night sights are perfect BUT I purchased this model for the use of the reflex sights! Trijicon will inspect and replace the optic...BUT I have to remove the optic and wait for it to be returned. NOT WHAT I EXPECT FROM A $2000 single item purchase!!!

Love this 1911!
The TRP line is top notch perfection.
For all the other guns that I own, there is something that I have done or are waiting to do to make them a bit better. This is not the case with this pistol.
Very well made/engineered and tight tolerances. This is certainly a positive but it does make it more difficult to disassemble than the old gov issue 1911 I was issued back in the day.
Pros: well made, beautiful pistol.
Cons: The only negative is that the suppressor height sights and the RMR make it difficult to find a holster that fits. I ended up modifying the springfield 1911 holster from their website.
