• Q: Could this be a legitimate pocket carry gun, in anyone's personal experience??

  Hi C J and welcome. It is an excellent pocket gun. I alternate between this and my single stack DB9 G4 which is 4oz's lighter to start and after with 4 fewer rounds. Cheers and stay safe!

  Micah, no this model is not optics ready. This just has x-ray 3 night sights Wich I have on my 365xl and they're fantastic sights. Here's a link to a p365 that is optics ready if interested. • Q: I was wondering what generation this pistol will be? I'm really hoping for the 3rd generation but that YouTube video of the unboxing is a Gen 2. The "3rd Generation" will have a circle located in the frame when disassembling the weapon. The 1st and 2nd generation will have a 1 or a 2 respectively located inside the frame. The 3rd generation has the best striker built. I believe all the newly made Sig P365 are indeed Gen 3 but I am not sure. Thank you!

  It's most likely the newest generation because the demand for firearms is so high that I highly doubt this is old stock. But as others have said there's only one way to know for sure and that's to contact buds customer service at 859-368-0371 Monday thru Friday 9am to 9pm. Sorry couldn't give a definite answer but hope this helps some.

  Daniel, this one is not optics ready. You would need to have the slide milled.
