Mossberg stocks have historically been too long unless one has long arms. This stock with spacers worked perfectly.

Very easy to install I much prefer the short bolt on this stock to the long bolt on the factory stock. Very easy to mount Magpul flush cups into the stock as well.

This part fits perfectly tight. I can now customize the length of pull that works for me. In addition, I’ll be able to easily use Magpul sling accessories with it. 100% satisfied. And Buds price was by far the best!

Bought this to reduce my length of pull. Easy to install looks good and provides me with a comfortable shooting stance. Has increased accuracy and reduced recoil. I highly recommend this and based on this purchase will add a forend when I can figure out to keep my heat shield.

Converted my pistol grip with this stock. It really makes the shotgun easier to control with high brass. Looks great, too. Installation was easy and being able to change the length of pull is really a good feature. Buds Gun Shop got the order out quick and it’s appreciated.

I use this as part of the Langdon Tactical Beretta 1301 conversion. If you know what that is, then I don't need to day much more. A sturdy and light weight stock.

This is my favorite aftermarket buttstock for Mossberg shotguns. Unless you are at least an XL shirt size the length of pull (LOP) on a Mossberg factory shipped shotgun stock is probably going to be too long for you and it's not going to be adjustable either. The Magpul MAG490 solves this problem by allowing you to incrementally reduce the LOP downward to your own preferred size - all with basic hand tools, too. It's also a very solid and well designed stock for your shotgun.

This has to be the best buttstock to get for the Mossberg shotguns. I like this way better than any pistol-grip style stock on the Mossberg shotguns, with this one can still get to the safety without adjusting our grip, like you have to do with pistol grip style stocks on the Mossberg shotguns unless on the Maverick 88 with has a tang style safety. I would highly recommend this stock to anyone with a Mossberg 500-590 series shotgun.

I recently purchased the Magpul SGA stock for a Mossberg 590S. First, the price was the lowest I was able to find anywhere, and it was actually available unlike every other site I searched. The reason I bought the SGA stock was because I was having trouble gripping the stock 590S stock, and it was also a very long length of pull for me. I can’t express enough how the new SGA stock has made a world of difference in the way I interact with this shotgun. The grip angle is perfect, and the length of pull can be adjusted from crazy short to just right for me. I added just two of the spacers to get the correct LOP for my needs. Delivery took a little longer than expected, but I didn’t need to have it right away anyway. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the product and with Bud’s.
