Magpul SGA Stock Fixed Black Synthetic for Moss 500, 590, 590A1 12 GA

Bought this to reduce my length of pull. Easy to install looks good and provides me with a comfortable shooting stance. Has increased accuracy and reduced recoil. I highly recommend this and based on this purchase will add a forend when I can figure out to keep my heat shield.

Converted my pistol grip with this stock. It really makes the shotgun easier to control with high brass. Looks great, too. Installation was easy and being able to change the length of pull is really a good feature. Buds Gun Shop got the order out quick and it’s appreciated.

I use this as part of the Langdon Tactical Beretta 1301 conversion. If you know what that is, then I don't need to day much more. A sturdy and light weight stock.

This is my favorite aftermarket buttstock for Mossberg shotguns. Unless you are at least an XL shirt size the length of pull (LOP) on a Mossberg factory shipped shotgun stock is probably going to be too long for you and it's not going to be adjustable either. The Magpul MAG490 solves this problem by allowing you to incrementally reduce the LOP downward to your own preferred size - all with basic hand tools, too. It's also a very solid and well designed stock for your shotgun.

This has to be the best buttstock to get for the Mossberg shotguns. I like this way better than any pistol-grip style stock on the Mossberg shotguns, with this one can still get to the safety without adjusting our grip, like you have to do with pistol grip style stocks on the Mossberg shotguns unless on the Maverick 88 with has a tang style safety. I would highly recommend this stock to anyone with a Mossberg 500-590 series shotgun.

I recently purchased the Magpul SGA stock for a Mossberg 590S. First, the price was the lowest I was able to find anywhere, and it was actually available unlike every other site I searched. The reason I bought the SGA stock was because I was having trouble gripping the stock 590S stock, and it was also a very long length of pull for me. I can’t express enough how the new SGA stock has made a world of difference in the way I interact with this shotgun. The grip angle is perfect, and the length of pull can be adjusted from crazy short to just right for me. I added just two of the spacers to get the correct LOP for my needs. Delivery took a little longer than expected, but I didn’t need to have it right away anyway. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the product and with Bud’s.

Nice replacement! Fits great and improves ergonomics. Allows easier handling of shotgun with dominant hand while reloading with support hand. Highly recomend!

I am very happy with my Magpul stock, as well as all of the Magpul products I have purchased over the years. I purchased the stock for my Mossberg 590 that I have owned for about 20 years. This is the third stock I have installed on the shotgun since I purchased it, and the first one that I have ever been happy with. The 590 has previously had a folding and a collapsible stock, neither looked or felt right on the gun. The Magpul stock is perfect, it feels perfect on the gun and looks great. I did not know that it had the ability to adjust for length of pull, like it does when I ordered it, and it works amazingly. I tried a few different configurations until it felt comfortable and was still fairly compact. I like that it isn't a permanent change, and I can add or take away spacers later if I change my mind. The stock itself is solid, the original stock seemed a lot thinner then the Magpul one, but the Magpul still feels light, yet balances the weight of the gun, even with a full tube of shells.
