A detachable box magazine makes reloading easier and the carbon steel barrel and receiver feature a matte black finish. Solid rifle for the money. Does what it’s supposed to do with no fuss and no frills. Scope is what you’d expect at this price point, but it works and that’s all it needs to do.

Really impressed with this rifle. I bought the savage axis xp in .308 and was not disappointed at all. Took it to the range today and had impressive groups once I sighted it in. The scope isn't that bad either. I plan to eventually upgrade the scope but it will do me just fine for now.

I added an M-carbo trigger and that made up for the "not accu trigger" gives an adjustable by spring 1.5-3.5 lb ... 1 moa at hundred yards even with using the weaver scope... very satisfied with this lost cost savage. the bolt is a bit stiff so that second shot would have to be with a purpose.

Really really awesome gun Shot with iron sights at 40,50,75 yards and within 1-2 inches of bullseye Added scope and hitting bullseyes at 40,50,75, and 100 yards. Bolt is smooth Trigger is easy and smooth Very little recoil and with rubber back end and f stock don’t really feel it Ordered with credit card so it shipped quick and easy

Savage axis XP 308 While I haven't fired it yet, bud customer service was excellent, shipping was just as good! Fine firearm! Flawless finish! Scope is decent! I can't wait to get this to the range and out in the field!

Process was quick and easy.. It came in new in box . Pick up at local gun shop paid for the background check. Took maybe ten minutes and was on my way home. I will buy my next gun from Buds.
